When you see your mom
Crying as she picks up the dirty laundry
That makes your heart crumble into
A thousand pieces
Because she thinks it her
Fault for someone elses
Decisions, thats when you realize
That she isnt always the warrior
She isnt always the one who stands to
Protect
Sometimes she needs you,
And that she needs to be protected
For even the strongest break
With just the right amount of pressure
Its the way your bestfriend
Tells you theyre fine
When you know theyre not
Its that moment youve realized
How much someone can cause pain
Its the moment in one look
All your soul tends to shake
And shatter
Its the moment your most trustest love
Breaths you their worries
And says they fear to lose you,
When he tells you that he sees
Visions of black and grey
Of what could happen if you leave him
Its that moment when you
Realize even the most beautiful person
Can see the darkness
In any situation,
Its when you..
Keep your promise
Its when you do anything for them
And they wont do anything for you
Its when you know you should be taking
Your own advice
But refuse to walk away
Even though its not like you need them
As they break and bruise your mentality
As they ask you for more
And more
Until you finally snap..
And get told that you havent done anything
Because all you have become
Is a selfish..inconsiderate..
Untruthful, worthless
Waste of space
Its it that moment
You realize you arent strong enough
To hold back the hurricane
