Ever met an Insomniac who failed to stay awake
After countless nights of unbreathable torture
He finally fell asleep
Before the hour of 3am
His mind working to hard to bare
Staying awake much longer
His eyes bagy and tired
No longer that little crooked smile
Youd think hed be glad to sleep
After countless times
Hed wish to
But maybe torture was the greatest
Reward
He isnt accorded to sleep at 8pm
Only to wake at 2:45
Do to his waves of emotions
That heave his heavy lungs
His eyes weave open
And closedHis close proximity
To the way he walks
And a falling star missing its target
Is too similar ,
the Insomniac who sleeps,
