When you sing,
And when you dance
As you watch the world
Change, at a second glance
How do you feel?
When all feels too real
When everything you believe
Is finally to your finger tips
To follow your dreams,
Continue your hopes
But let go of the ropes
When you walk through the hallways
Lost and unsaid
As you laugh woth your friends
As you say that you wish you were dead,
That you feel like slipping away
And jumping off the cliff,
But do you mind me asking,
What happened to your life through today
Do you truly wish to die,
To drop dead six feet under
Locked in a box without a way to escape,
By your own hand,
Or is it the fact
Youre tired of doing the same thing,
Walking in the same direction
Continuing to speak as
if you were a broken record
Repeating the same monotone words
Without a hold at your heart..
Are you sure..you want to be dead?
Or do you miss the feeling
Of feeling alive
