Still Andy's POV
"But-" Rye went to say but I cut him off.
"No buts. Upstairs. Now," I spoke, my voice steady and loud. Rye sighed and got up before I went upstairs, followed by him. I walked into his room and once he was in, I closed the door and locked it.
"Take a seat," I crossed my arms in front of my chest. He sat on the bed. "What is wrong with you? What's with that behaviour in front of Ryan- I'm sorry, Sonny?" I asked while looking at him.
"What do you mean?" he asked, looking lost.
"Don't 'What do you mean' me! You know exactly what I mean. I saw how tense you looked since he came and I hugged him. You know he is an old friend of mine and yet you get mad. Did I act the same way while Mikey, your childhood friend came around and joined the band? No. So, what's up with you?" I snapped, raising an eyebrow. He looked hurt when I mentioned Mikey. We might not have been together back then but I was in love with him.
"I'm just jealous, okay? I'm scared that I'm going to lose you to him. That he is going to take you away from me. That you will be around him all the time spending less time with me," he spoke, looking down. He sounded more upset than mad. "That's what's up with me," he continued, getting up and walking to the window.
"Hey, hey. You know that's not true. I'll always find time to be with you. You are my top priority after music," I spoke, lowering my voice as I started to feel bad that he actually thought that.
"You made it seem like it though," he whispered, looking out of the window. Whenever he whispered in a fight, you surely knew he was upset.
"I didn't mean to though," I made my way towards him. He sighed. "I'm sorry," I whispered. He didn't reply. "Rye, please..."
"Leave me alone," was all he said as he was still looking outside.
"Rye, come on. I'm sorry, okay?" I placed my hand on his arm but he pulled himself away from me.
"I said leave. me. alone," he snapped but remained calm. That's when I saw that tears were streaming down his face. He was truly upset. Hurt. Because of me. I made him feel like that.
I sighed and made my way to the door, unlocking it. I would leave him alone only because I knew that when he was upset he wanted to be alone. I looked back at him one last time and walked out closing the door behind me. I made my way downstairs and pulled my shoes on before taking my keys.
"Fovvs? What happened?" Jack asked.
"I screwed up, as always," was all I said and left the house, leaving the boys with Sonny behind.
I needed some fresh air right now. I just made the boy I love the most feel hurt. Upset. I started walking off not having a place to go in mind. I ended up at the lake. I went to Rye's favorite place, where he took me the other day that he asked me to be his. I sat down and looked at the lake, getting lost in my thoughts.
'Way to go, Andy. You just probably lost the boy you love over a stupid thing' The voice in my mind said.
Oh, fuck off. You didn't have to remind me that.
I pulled my knees to my chest and hugged them close while looking off at the lake. Before I knew it, tears were streaming down my face. I was more upset that the other time in which Rye ended up in the hospital. This time feelings were stronger as we were together, not just in love with each other.
"Oh, sorry. I didn't know you were here. I'm going to go," A familiar voice snapped me back to reality. I didn't even notice how much time had passed since I got here.
