If I Can't Have You || Randy

I saw my family and surprised everyone.

Rye's POV

I started driving towards home as I sang along to the songs on the radio softly. I had turned my phone off so I wouldn't get messages while I was home with my brothers, except Robbie, and my parents. I really wanted to spend some time with my family and take a break from everything. I didn't want the boys or Blair to bother me but I knew they would look for me.

After around 1 hour of driving, I stopped to get something to eat as I was getting quite hungry and I wouldn't make it far. Once I ate, I went back to driving. I couldn't wait to see my family again after so long. It had been months since I visited them as we were quite busy with tour and all and then I was in hospital due to the car accident I was in after my first fight with Andy.

Before I knew it as I was too busy driving and singing along to the radio, 2 hours later I was home. I got out of the car and walked towards the door, putting the key in and unlocking it. I was greeted by my mom who was close to the door.

"Rye, my dear, welcome home," she said quietly as the others didn't know I was coming and gave me a warm hug. "The twins are in their room upstairs, dad is in the living room," she added as I nodded.

I walked to the living room and saw my dad sitting on the couch, watching tv. I walked behind him and leaned down.

"What are you watching here?" I asked and he jumped before getting up and turning to look at me.

"Rye! My boy, welcome. Why are you here? Not that I mind but what happened?" he said as he hugged me, patting my back and I hugged him back.

"Hi, dad. I'll explain everything later. I'm going to see the twins, it must be their bed time by now," I said and he nodded.

I took my shoes off and made my way upstairs slowly as I hummed. Once I was outside their room, I opened the door and looked inside slightly to find them busy. One was playing fifa and the other was playing something on the computer. I walked in slowly as they hadn't seen me. I walked behind Shaun and closed his eyes as he jumped, making me chuckle.

"RYE!" he exclaimed and took off the headphones, getting up and hugging me.

"There's one of my boys," I hugged him back and messed his hair a bit as I chuckled. He soon let go as Sam got up and ran to me, hugging me.

"And there's the other one too," I chuckled, hugging him and kissing his head. "I think it's quite past your bed time, boys," I said, raising an eyebrow.

"Maybe it is," Shaun shrugged as he smiled.

"Off to bed you go, I'm going to come say goodnight in a bit, alright?" I said and they nodded before I left their room, closing the door. I walked down the stairs and pulled my shoes on as I grabbed my keys.

"Where are you going?" I heard mom ask.

"To get my stuff from the car, mum," I said as I opened the door and walked out to my car.

Once I unlocked the car, I took my suitcase putting it down before pulling my backpack over my shoulder and getting my other bag in my hand. While I was locking the car, my dad came outside to help me, getting my suitcase. We got in and went upstairs to my room leaving them in there, my phone on the desk as I took my shoes off as well. I would put them in place later but now I wanted to see my family for a bit.

I walked out, closing the door behind me as my dad had already gone downstairs and opened the door to the boys' room to see what they were doing. They were both in their pjs, getting in bed.

"Oh good, you are both getting in bed," I said as I chuckled.

"Will you be here tomorrow?" Sam asked and I nodded.
