She headed for the door to see if she could catch him.
Suddenly arms wrapped around her. "What did you think of the song?"
Mel swallowed hard but was frozen and could not bring herself to face him.
"Mel?"
"I liked it a lot. Did you write your own part?"
Yauch moved his lips closer to her ear. "Mmhmm."
He then spun around and pulled her into a corner away from the crowd. He stepped as close as he could get to her. "Did you...like my part?"
Mel blushed and nodded. "You are very talented."
"What happened to your boy toy?"
"He left."
He caressed her cheek and looked deeply into her eyes. "Who would leave you? I haven't been able to get my mind off of you ever since...our kiss."
Mel blushed uncontrollably.
He pressed his forehead against hers and let out a low growl. "I better stop so I can keep my promises."
"What promises?"
Yauch quickly was sobered by the realization that he had just revealed something he did not intend.
"Yauch?"
He shook his head then attempted to turn away, but she held his face in her hands. "Adam Yauch. What did you promise?"
"That I'd back off." He said then leaned in closer placing his hands on her hips. "Now, I'm not sure I remember why."
"Back off of what?"
He smiled at her. "You, silly."
Just then they heard some arguing in the other room. When they heard the sound of Ad's voice they both ran towards the noise.
"Fuck YOU, man!"
"Stay the FUCK away from my bitch!"
Ad shoved him and the guy punch him across the face.
"Maybe if you satisfied her, she wouldn't ..."
He was punched again, only this time, he stumbled onto the floor.
Mel went to break it up, but Yauch held her. "D!" He yelled out.
"I got her, bro." Mike said as he grabbed Melanie from Yauch.
"Let me go, Mike!"
Yauch grabbed the guy by the throat and banged him against the wall. "Don't you ever lay a fucking hand on him!"
"He is a fuckin' prick and..."
Yauch began to choke him and let out a small chuckle. "Maybe I didn't make myself clear." He said then choked him harder.
"Yauch man, let him go." TJ said.
"Are you gonna play nice?" Yauch asked him.
"Fuck yo...."
Yauch squeezed him harder.
"Yes, dammit!"
Yauch released him and he fell to the floor. He then walked over to Ad who was trying to get up but failing miserably.
"Let me go, Michael!"
Yauch gave D a nod and like that, he released her. She ran over to him and knelt beside him. "Are you okay, Ad?"
The girl the boys were fighting over knelt beside Melanie on the floor. "Babyyyy, are you okay?"
"Does he look okay to you?"
