Reception

One more chapter then this book is over. I'm so sad I haven't even been working on this for a year. But there might be a squeal. If I can get 5 comments saying squeal there will be one. And I'm gonna edit this once I have everything posted.

Bek and the girls rush me back to Bek's bathroom. They took off my dress and undid my hair and makeup. Bek redoes my hair the same way and Katherine redoes my makeup. Ella run out of the room with my dress and shoes and comes running back in with a purple and black dress and different white flats.
They quickly glide the dress over my baby belly. Once it's on they rush me out and to the reception.
Damon quickly finds me as a song starts. "Will you dance with me Mrs. Salvatore?" he asks
"Of course Mr. Salvatore. But it's Mikaelson-Salvatore" I tell him. He takes my hand a brings me to the dance floor.
After dancing with Damon, Stefan, Uncle 'Lijah, Uncle Kol, and Angel, I finally get to dance with Daddy. As Butterfly kisses comes on. We slowly dance and I feel like I'm 5 again. Dads are wrapped around my waist (barely) and my head on his shoulder as he softly sings the song to me
"There's 2 I know for shore. She was sent here from heaven and she's daddy's little girl. As I drop to my knees by her bed at night she talks to Jesus and I close my eyes and I thank god for all of the joy in my life but most of all for butterfly kiss after bed time prayer sticking little white flowers all up in her hair." Then the part I sing comes on
"Walk beside the pony daddy it's my first ride. I know the cake looks funny daddy but I sure tried." My part ends and daddy starts singing again
"With all that I've done wrong I must have done something right to deserve a hug every morning and butterfly kisses at night" we slowly keep dance as the words pause and the background music takes over for a minute then dad starts up again
"Sweet 16 today, she's looking like her mamma a little more every day. One part woman the other part girl. To perfume and makeup from ribbons and curls. Trying her wings out in a great big world." He takes a pause quickly and takes a breath
"But I remember butterfly kisses after bed time prayer, sticking little white flowers all up in her hair." Then it's my turn again
"You know how much I love you daddy but if you don't mind I'm only gonna kiss you on the cheek this time." then dads part starts back up.
"Oo with all that I've done wrong I must of done something right to deserve her love every morning and butterfly kisses at night." The music goes for a second before dad sings again
"Oo like the wind and years go by" he pauses and then looks in my eyes then at Damon he kisses the top of my head then sings
"She'll change her name today, she'll make a promise and I'll give her away. Standing in the brides room just staring at her she asks me what I'm thinking and I said I'm not sure I just feel like I'm losing my baby girl. And she leaned over and gave me butterfly kisses with her momma there sticking little white flowers all up in her hair." His part pauses and mine starts
"Walk me down aisle daddy, it's just about time. Does my wedding dress look pretty daddy? Daddy don't cry"
"Oo with all that I've done wrong I must've done something right to deserve her love every morning and butterfly kisses. I couldn't ask god for more, man this is what love is. I know I gotta let her go but I'll always remember every hug in the morning and butterfly kisses" the words stop and the music takes over for the rest of the song.
After my emotional dance with my dad, I dance with Bek and Ella to shake it off. Then I danced with Hope to impossible. Me and Damon weren't having a honey moon. So we just went home. But it was still a perfect day!! =)
