nick was reminiscing, looking through old pictures, old texts and old memories. he missed her too much, he wanted to be at least friends with her. nick looked around the house for her though she wasn't around. lauren was out wherever with brandon at the moment which made nick a little disappointed.
he tried to call her though she didn't pick up, sighing, nick laid back in his bed. edwin knocked on his open door, "why you so sad?" "i just need to talk to lauren." "you know she's home." edwin laughed. "really, where?" nick said, getting up from his bed. "backyard with simba and z. brandon went out, by himself."
nick got up and ran over to the backyard, lauren came into sight as simba chased her and zion around the yard. "l-lauren." nick said leaning on the screen door. "oh hi nick." she said quickly, then returning her attention to simba and zion. nick walked over, "lauren i want to talk to you." she looked over and chuckled a bit, "i'm kinda busy." referring to simba who was still chasing her and zion around.
"no, lauren. this is important." he said, grabbing her hand and walking over to the other side of the backyard. lauren whipped her hand away once nick stopped, "first of all. don't ever do that again." "fine, anyways i just want to be friends. nothing between us, just friends. maybe best friends." "well..."
