"boston!" lauren shouted into her mic and they cheered her on.
"lauren here has decided to do a little cover for you guys." edwin said.
"yall ain't ready, it's a bag for sure." nick locked eyes with her and she smiled.
"it's a cover though can you guys sing along with me?" she asked the crowd and they roared, the music had started.

"through drought and famine, natural disasters. my baby has been around for me.. kingdoms have fallen, angels be calling.
none of that could ever make me leave."
she finished up until the second chorus and the fans showed her so much love and support by cheering.

"i've never been so loved before, not in a relationship or in my family. i've been through hell and back so for you guys to still show me love, means the world to me." her voice broke and blew kisses to the crowd.
"maybe you should start your own career."  what austin had said made the crowd grow even louder, lauren was about to walk off stage before she felt a hand grab hers.

"dance break?" brandon put his mic on his stool so he wasn't heard.
"i'm still a little sore, i'm just going to be backstage if that's okay." lauren gave him a weak smile.
brandon nodded and watched her walk away, then putting his full attention on the show.

lauren decided to just wait in the tour bus since she was missing out on a lot, finding her phone and scrolling through it. another phone was ringing next to hers, it was nick's.
she picked it up, placing her thumb on the home button and it unlocked.

he still had her thumbprint on his phone, lauren pressed on the camera roll app and something stood out to her.
an album that read, laur 💜
clicking on it, pictures of lauren and nick popped up.
many of them a year old, from their past relationship.

the most recent thing in the album was a video of nick singing, her eyebrows furrowed.
pressing play, she got comfortable and watched it.

"i uh, wrote this song for someone." he chuckled on the video.
i try to tell her,
yet everyday i feel like i'm going under.
why can't you see you're the one that i want
i'm still lost in your love.
lauren paused the video and shook her head, closing the app and putting his phone back to where it was. lauren grabbed one of brandon's hoodies and climbed into his bunk, taking a nap...

"today was the best show we've ever had." austin said, as him and the boys were walking to the bus.
"it kind of sucks that lauren couldn't dance though." brandon said and they all agreed.
hopping onto the bus, the boys didn't see lauren.
"laur?" edwin called out.
"lauren?" zion called out.
no reply, it was so quite you could drop a pin and you'd hear it fall to the ground.
brandon heard soft snores coming from the bunks, going to check what it was.

he heard it coming from his own bunk, opening the curtain to see lauren bundled up in his hoodie and a blanket.
he closed it up quietly to let her sleep, "you found her yet?" nick whispered.
"yeah, she's slumped." brandon giggled.
"hey man, i just wanted to say i'm happy for you guys." nick patted brandon's back.
"thanks nick." brandon smiled, happy to hear that his best friend finally supported him.
