"taking sweet, sweet time."
"oh, you're my sweet divine." brandon sang and lauren blushed.
he wrapped his arms around her, "you changed the lyrics." she giggled into her mic.
the crowd awed and brandon went back to his spot as lauren was saying goodbye to the crowd.

rushing off to the right wing, she was greeted by max.
"hey, you did amazing out there!"
"thanks but i couldn't do it alone." she chuckled.
the two were interrupted by someone wearing a radio station's t-shirt.
"hello, may i speak with lauren." she asked.
max nodded and waved goodbye, lauren stood there awkwardly.
"hi i'm selena with kiss fm. i just wanted to ask you a few questions the fans wanted to know."
lauren nodded and selena pulls out a paper.

"so, are you planning on making or releasing your own music?"
"yes, it's in the works don't worry."
"have you ever thought about coming out to meet your fans?"
"well, i've wanted to but we leave immediately after the show is over. if i'm ever ran into by a fan on the streets, i'll for sure stop for a picture or just to connect with them."
"what do you love most about your fans?"
"they never stop the love, they understand that i'm a person too."
"if you do ever make your own music, do you plan on collabing with prettymuch?"

lauren chuckled, "of course it's in mind."
"thank you for your time, i wish you luck on the rest of tour with the boys."
"thank you." she smiled as the girl walked away.
the boys were on their last song and were about to finish up, lauren watched in awe.
the boys ran out the back and lauren ran to their dressing rooms.

tripping over a wire, landing straight on the floor.
"fuck." she yelled grabbing at her ankle that was scrambled in the bundle of chords.
she whimpered as she got it out, trying to walk on it. she winced leaning on the wall, "laur?" she heard from down the hall.
"yeah?" she groaned.
"are you okay? what's wrong? did anyone hurt you?" nick came running.

"i just fell, maybe sprained my ankle."
"do you need help?"
"uh, yea."
nick carried her bridal style, "gotchu."
"when you said help i thought..nevermind."
nick carried her through the hallway to the venue medic.

letting go of her and placing her on the table, nick stayed by her side.
"so what happened?"
"i was just running down the hallway and i fell on a bunch of cords that tangled in my ankles."
"you were there?" the doctor asked nick.

"no, i just heard a crash and she was wincing or groaning in pain so i had to get her."
"i'm sure you'll be fine, it sounds like just a sprain and did you hear a crack or anything?"
"no, i didn't."
"okay i'll just wrap your ankle but i'm sure you'll be fine."
lauren and nick watched the doctor wrap lauren's ankle, nick smiled at lauren.
"i'm glad you're okay."
"i am too." she breathed out, watching nick type away at his phone.

his expression changed but when he looked back up at lauren, he smiled.
"what's wrong?"
"brandon is just asking where you are, he's worried about you and you weren't answering your phone."
"i always leave my phone on the bus."
the doctor looked up and nodded indicating that he was done, trying not to interrupt their conversation.
nick carried lauren again and walked out of the venue, the fans were screaming and calling their names as nick walked onto the bus.
"oh my god! are you okay?" brandon rushed to lauren, taking her from nick's arms.
"i'm okay, don't worry." she connected their lips.

every time nick saw them together. it broke his heart but he had his chance and yet let it go just like that.
feeling regret every single time he sees the two.
