lauren's foot was perfectly fine now, she sat on the couch thinking.
overthinking.
it was the middle of the night and nobody else was awake, lauren sighed.
at this point, nick was toying with her emotions.
it's made her second guess so many things.

"you're still awake?" she heard nick say as he rummaged through the fridge.
"yeah." she mumbled as she fiddled with the hem of her shirt.

"you gotta go to sleep."nick walked over, taking the seat next to her.

she shook her head, then looking at her phone.
"oh uhm, i saw your phone." she said softly.
"what did you see on my phone?"
"my very own album." she smiled to herself as she looked away.
nick tried to hide his embarrassment with a laugh but looked to lauren who was looking away.

nick scooted closer to lauren, when she turned to look back at him her face met with his.
"a little too close?" they both laughed quietly to avoid being yelled at.
nick paused and looked at lauren as she continued to laugh, soon getting the memo that she should stop laughing.
she stared blankly at nick, while nick's glances exchanged from her lips to her eyes.

she heard an 'ahem' from behind, "zion."
nick said startled and lauren put her head in the palms of her hands.
"was i interrupting something?"
"no, you're good. i was just telling nick to leave me alone."
lauren said, getting up walking back inside the bunks.

zion leaned on the wall, "man you gotta chill."
"with?"
"liking her! it's so obvious. half of us all see it besides brandon he kinda slow."

"i don't have a crush on her." nick argued.

"sure you don't nick, then what the fuck was that. you were boutta kiss her!"
"one thing leads to another." he shrugs his shoulders.

brandon's eyes fluttered open in the dark, feeling a sleeping lauren on top of him.
he smiled, wrapping his arms around her.

"can't sleep." she mumbled, almost scaring brandon.
"it's okay." he cooed, kissing her forehead.

just then, their curtain was opened and the dreadheaded boy was interrupting their subtle cute moment.

"what?" they both groaned.
"this short italian gots something to say."
lauren and brandon both furrowed their brows, looking at each other then at zion who was holding the short italian.

"you guys are a cute couple." nick let out causing zion to let him go and brandon closed the curtain.
"that was a waste of time." brandon said as lauren turned over.

he hummed songs just so she could fall asleep, brandon stroked her hair as she looked into his eyes with a small smile across her lips.
"goodnight, princess." brandon whispered as he pulled her closer, engulfing her in his arms.
