Silence. It's definitely hard to find, especially in a life full of chaos. But the quieter you become, the more you are able to hear.

Nova Andrews, she's different than most. She's quiet but very independent, unique, and broken. When you look at the life she's living, you may think she has it good, she shouldn't be 'broken', she has everything she dreams of having. Little do you know, she has a monster that brings her down almost everyday, a monster that she can't get rid of, that monster is herself. Then there is her brother, Billy Andrews. He might as well be a monster all in himself. He tries to make Nova's life miserable. But she is stronger than that, to let some stupid boy, that so happens to be her brother, bring her down.

Nova has Jane, her fraternal twin, Jane doesn't talk much to her. But when they do, usually it's a simple, go with the flow, kind of conversation. But then there's Prissy, she has this mean demeanor to her, she's very intimidating, especially at school, but she is more there for Nova than anybody in her life. Her life is controlled by her family and their reputation. Nova doesn't have a very close relationship with her mom and dad. Her parents are always trying to teach her how to be the 'perfect' wife to her future husband.

Nova wants to go to college and make something of herself. She wants to be a writer, write about her experiences in life. Writing is her most favorite thing to do. She doesn't have very many friends, she has acquaintances at school, of course, but they aren't very fond of her because of her quiet nature. She may not want to be like all of the other women, being a housewife that obeys their husbands every command, but she does wish she could have a tragical romance. But of course, that remains to be seen.
