"You look hot."

"I know."

"Brat."

"Hey, I'm older!"

Taehyung rolled his eyes. When it came to their friendship, he honestly didn't feel a big age gap between him and Jungkook. Sometimes, it even seemed like he was the older one.

"Anyway, I'm looking forward to everyone's reaction when we appear on the red carpet together. It's going to be amazing," he said and scrolled through his social media while the staff worked on his hair and makeup. Jungkook hummed in response.

"You're nervous, aren't you?" Taehyung teased him and laughed. "Don't worry, they won't hurt you."

"I know that too. I've never been invited to any awards show before, that's all.."

"Mhm, sure."

"Yah, I'm not lying!"

He did. Jungkook was anxious as hell.
The thought of being on TV for the whole night frightened him. After marrying Seohyun, he had decided to distance himself from the public eye. But now that he was friends with people like Jimin and Taehyung, things changed and he constantly saw his own face on the internet. He definitely needed to get used to it again.

"Whatever you say. Come on, let's take a few pictures! I want to send it to Jimin." Taehyung's look was finished too, so he grabbed his phone and gave it to the manager.

Jungkook smiled when he heard that Jimin was going to see him being all dressed up and good-looking. He'd like his suit, right?

What are you thinking, idiot? Worry about Seohyun, not Jimin.

"Jungkook, look over here."

The doctor did what he was told and smiled at the camera. Judging from the others' impressed faces, the two of them really looked incredible tonight.

"Mommy, play with me!" Haeun ran into the living room and jumped on the big sofa, sitting next to a sleepy Seohyun who still felt sick because of yesterday's drinks. She wasn't a big drinker and usually preferred to stay sober at parties. However, she didn't regret getting drunk with Jungkook on their date last night. It was fun.

"Haeun, please. Mommy's very tired," Seohyun mumbled and yawned. She loved being around her daughter, but this wasn't a good time.

"Mom, it's still early," Haeun pouted and showed her a doll, "Pleaseeee?"

"Ugh, okay."

Seohyun stood up and followed Haeun to her room. The 3-year old girl giggled, knowing that her mother would always say yes when she did that face.

Young, but smart. Her grandmother had always told her that she got her father's mindset. Haeun didn't really know what that meant, but she liked being compared to her father.

"Where's Daddy?" she asked, wondering why he didn't come back home from work like he usually did.

"He's out with some friends, honey."

"Again?"

Seohyun was suprised to hear that the little girl noticed how outgoing Jungkook was these days. Hopefully, it didn't make her sad.

"Does it bother you?"

"I miss him, but it's okay. You need more friends too, Mommy."

Seohyun was actually offended. Did that little brat just diss her?

"Heyy, I have friends! Yuri and.. others."

"Mommy has no friends," Haeun laughed and she tickled her, remembering how the girl had called her lazy before. Since when did she become so insulting?
