"I really don't understand women sometimes, Jungkook. Why do they have to be so complicated?" Jaewon sighed and took another sip of his coffee. Even after finishing a difficult surgery this morning, the man still had the nerves to complain about Hayi and Jungkook didn't know if he should be amused or feel bad for his best friend.

They were standing at the reception of the hospital, actually supposed to discuss an upcoming surgery for one of Jungkook's patients, but Jaewon's relationship seemed to be way more important than work right now.

Apparently, the trip didn't go as planned and turned out to be big disaster: the couple had fought for most of the time and couldn't really enjoy the three days in Bali. Jaewon hasn't talked to his girlfriend ever since they returned from their holiday and is now feeling kind of lonely.

"Seriously, it was a waste of money. I tried to make Hayi happy, but she never seems to be satisfied with me or the things I do for her," he said, "Maybe dating her isn't as great as I imagined."

"You should talk to her," Jisoo said while filing her fingernails, obviously bored by the topic. It's no secret that the 24-year-old nurse had a crush on Jaewon, but sadly, the latter only had eyes for Hayi. And to make things worst, Jisoo was close with her too.

Jungkook knew that his friend was heartbroken, but he couldn't deny the fact that Hayi and Jaewon looked incredibly good together. They were a perfect match, so he didn't understand why the couple had a hard time getting along with each other these days.

"That's easy for you to say, Jisoo! If a simple conversation could change a thing, don't you think I'd have texted her by now?"

"Well, all you do is complaining. Obviously you're still upset with her, but you guys are old enough to handle these kind of things in private," Jisoo said angrily and turned back to the computer. Jaewon stared at her open-mouthed, stunned by his friend's harsh words.

"Yah, Kim Jisoo! I'm still one year older than you!"

"Then act like that!"

Jaewon furiously walked away. He didn't need his dongsaeng to turn against him too. She didn't know anything about their fight, so who was she to tell him-the older one- what to do?

Jisoo sighed when he left, looking back at Jungkook who seemed just as irritated as Jaewon was.

"I know what you're going to say: "Jisoo, you shouldn't be so mean to him, he already feels bad because of Hayi" or "It's not his fault that you were stupid enough to fall in love with him" I already know that, Oppa. I just can't.. change the way I'm feeling." Jungkook's heart broke when he saw how sad and defeated she looked.

"I would never say or even think that your feelings for Jaewon are stupid, Jisoo. It can be really frustrating when you have no control over your own emotions, I know that too. But he's still one of your closest friends. Why hurt him? He doesn't deserve to be treated like this." Jisoo smiled at him weakly, tears in her eyes.

"I'm such a hypocrite. I told him to be honest with Hayi, while I'm here lying to his face every single day. Am I a bad person?"

Jungkook gently stroked her head. Seeing his two best friends this upset made him cry inside.

"You're not a bad person, silly. I think you're just confused and need some time to rearrange your thoughts. Let's talk about this again another time and focus on work, okay? It'll distract us from all the drama."

"So you convinced Jungkook to come along, huh? I'm really grateful, Taehyung-ah. He needs more friends like you: people of his kind. " Young Ae put on her sunglasses and leaned back on the sunbed, enjoying the warm weather.

Summer really was her favourite season.

"I didn't know you were this concerned about his social life, Noona. Thanks for inviting me to the pool party, though. Filming the commercial was really exhausting this morning," the younger explained, lying next to her, "At least I could stare at the naked bodies of my coworkers. Being a model really has his perks sometimes."

"Ugh, don't make me jealous. I wish I could be around them too." They both laughed. "Anyway, I'm happy that Namjoon introduced me to you. Being around you guys makes me feel young again."

"You're not that old, Noona," Namjoon said. Other than his his friends, he was inside the water, his arms and chin resting on the edge of the pool.

"Thank you, honey. I appreciate your efforts to make me feel better."

Suddenly Taehyung's phone buzzed, telling him that he got a new message. He sat up and took off the sunglasses to have a better view.

"Who is it?" Young Ae asked without moving a muscle.

"It's Jimin. He's at the airport and asks if I want anything special from Busan."

Young Ae immediately sat up.

"That's so sweet of him. He always buys his friends some stuff when he's traveling around," Namjoon said.

"Jimin? I always wanted to meet him. How long is he going to stay there?" she asked, her energy high up after the famous model's name was mentioned.

"Only for a couple of days. He's finally visiting his father again."

Oh right, his parents are divorced..

Young Ae didn't know if she should feel embarrassed for stalking Jimin on his social media sites after the pictures of him and Jungkook were published, but she couldn't help it: he had gained her attention and she was eager to meet him one day.

"So, Taehyung. What is going on between my son and your best friend?"

Taehyung and Namjoon exchanged a surprised look. The actor didn't know that the mother of his new friend liked the idea of them hanging out together this much. Shouldn't she be more worried? After all, Jungkook was married to Seohyun.

"Why are you asking?" Namjoon asked curiously. Taehyung started to become a little bit more nervous.

What if she found out about Jimin's intentions and is now trying to ruin us? To protect her daughter-in-law..

"I'm just excited to see them becoming friends, that's all. They both seem to enjoy each other's company, right?"

"U-um, well.. it's true, they get along very well, but you don't have to worry about-"

"Oh no, don't get me wrong," Young Ae interrupted him, "To be honest, I don't really care about his marriage with Seohyun. But you need to keep this for yourself, alright?"

"What are you talking about, Noona?" The weird behavior of his friend confused Namjoon, but Taehyung understood what she was trying to say. He smiled at her, all of his worries disappearing.

"I get it, noona. I'll let Jimin know that you're interested in meeting him too."

"Good," Young Ae smirked.
