"Jungkook?"

Jimin closed the door behind him, entering the awfully quiet house carefully to not alarm anyone who shouldn't know about his visit. Slowly, he took a few steps towards the hallway and looked around.

"Hello?"

Right now, it seemed like no one was actually here. The model thought that Seohyun was most definitely not present, otherwise Jungkook wouldn't have asked him to meet up in their shared home. However, he also couldn't find him anywhere. The kitchen was empty, such as every other room downstairs, leaving only the upper floor. With a small shrug, he made his ways upstairs and hoped to finally run into him while searching. After all, he was still busy getting ready for his trip tomorrow.

When reaching the next floor, he could actually hear a small noise coming from one of the many rooms. He still wasn't very familiar with this place, so he didn't know where exactly to go, but he decided to just follow the sound without worrying too much. Maybe Jungkook had been waiting for him the whole time?

Wait. Maybe this was supposed to be a surprise?

Jimin started smiling cheekily and quickened his pace to reach the door to the room at the end of the long hallway.

"Jungkook, what is this-"

The model stopped laughing after opening it, face slowly falling as he realized that this wasn't the bedroom he had expected to see. No, this actually seemed like a room for children. Jimin stared at the sickeningly pink walls, girly furniture and toys scattered on the white carpet. There were some pictures too, all of them showing drawings of colorful animals or flowers. Most notably- a bunch of stuffed animals gathered on the large bed, a white rabbit especially standing out due to it's many different pastel colors. Jimin entered the room and walked towards the nearest dresser, a small picture frame immediately catching his attention. It showed a picture of Jungkook holding a newborn, grinning at the camera happily as he held the little girl in his arms. The model could only snicker at this and put it back, now turning towards the bed to look at the rabbit again. He really liked the stuffed animal- it reminded him of someone. So with a giggle, he picked it up and eyed the rabbit carefully, making sure to not damage it in any way.

"Do you like it?"

Jimin let out a surprised gasp, accidentally letting go of the rabbit, which fell back onto the soft sheets of the bed. He then turned around, eyes wide in shock.

"Jungkook."

The doctor was leaning against the door frame, arms crossed as he watched him with a tilted head. They just looked at each other, Jimin not knowing if he would get mad at him for staying in Haeun's room. After all, Jungkook had stated many times that he'd prefer it if the model kept his distance to her.

"Funny seeing you here."

"Of all the rooms in this house, I would have least expected you in this one," Jungkook stated, "I don't know if I can appreciate you going through my daughter's personal belongings."

Jimin snorted and pointed at the stuffed rabbit.

"I'm sorry, Jungkook-ssi. I can't help but be interested in a four-year-old's plushies."

The older didn't laugh, in fact his expression actually darkened. He broke the eye contact, now looking down on the floor. Jimin felt weird standing in the middle, exposed to him and anyone else who'd decide to enter the room. He usually had no problem being in the spotlight, this time however it just made him uncomfortable. Especially since Jungkook was studying every inch of his body carefully, face remaining stone-cold.

"You don't seem too happy to see me."

He didn't reply, instead continued to watch him. Jimin didn't dare to move, somehow getting the feeling that taking a step towards him would only end up in rejection. There was an unsettling tension in the room, and he hated it. Right now, the younger felt like an easy prey to a dangerous predator who- ironically- looked at him as if he was waiting for the right moment to attack. Jimin just wanted to get out of here. This house always made him feel bad.
