Jimin sighed, staring at his phone.
No new messages.
"You couldn't even ask me if I had a safe flight," he snorted and shook his head, "Taehyung's right. Why am I even trying, Jeon?"
"Who's Jeon, Monsieur?"
The model turned around with wide eyes, however his face relaxed after seeing who had entered his room.
"Sebastian, you scared me."
"I apologize, it wasn't my intention to disturb you. But your mother left the mansion for a few hours and asked me to inform you."
"It's fine," Jimin said, rolling his eyes, "I'll see her at the banquet later."
He really wasn't surprised. After having brunch together, Sarang had immediately disappeared in her office, leaving Jimin on his own again. Instead of hiding in his room, he had taken a quick walk through the garden, accompanied by the butler who decided to ask him questions about life in Seoul.
"Beautiful city, but quite suffocating sometimes. Busan however.. I really miss it.. Perfect place to take a break from everything."
"I've been to Korea a few times, Monsieur."
"Mhm, I guess that's how you learned the language. Did you enjoy your stay?"
"Yes, very much. But I prefer the countryside. It's calm and peaceful. Not too many people, and the air is so much better too! In France, I feel comfortable. Healthy. The streets of Paris are always busy, but if you drive out of town for a bit, you can connect with nature and focus on yourself."
"That sounds very tempting. Unfortunately, I won't be able to see the other beautiful parts of this country. My mother made sure I'll stay busy during my visit."
"Oh, I don't think you'll have to worry about that, Monsieur."
Before Jimin could ask Sebastian what he meant by that, the butler had to get back to work. Probably nothing important, though.
"The management is going to pick me up soon- to get ready for the evening."
"I'm sure you can't wait to see your grandfather, Monsieur."
The younger grimaced.
"Do you have family here, Sebastian?" He asked, walking towards his bed to lie down.
"Only a brother."
"Are you guys close?"
"Of course, Monsieur. Sadly, we don't see each other that often. We're both very busy."
"Oh, I can relate. Same goes for me and Jihyun. As children, we always did everything together," Jimin sighed, smiling at the memories with his younger brother, "I always protected him and made sure that he didn't get in any trouble with our parents. Not that they'd pay much attention to us anyway, but.. oh well, I think I'm getting carried away."
"When was the last time you saw each other?" Sebastian asked, listening to him intently.
"Many months ago."
"I'm sure you miss him a lot."
"Oh, I do."
Suddenly, his phone rang. Jimin immediately looked at the screen, expression changing after seeing the caller's name pop up.
"I'll be downstairs if you need me." The butler bowed and closed the door behind him. The model huffed, taking a deep breath before accepting the call.
