I noticed that a lot of you were really upset with Jaewon in the last chapter. I hope you guys are okay now, because IT'S JUST THE BEGINNING (muhahaha).

"I'm home!" Jungkook announced after entering the house, and Haeun immediately ran into his arms.
"Daddy!" She giggled, already wearing her pink pajamas, "You're late. I missed you."
"Sorry, baby. I met up with a few friends."
"Was Uncle Jaewon there, too?"
"Yes, and he told me that he can't wait to see you tomorrow," Jungkook smiled. Even though his best friend was still a little angry at him, visiting the bar with Jisoo had definitely helped to forget about the argument and move on from the topic. Jaewon promised he wouldn't tell Seohyun about the affair, and Jungkook had assured him that he would work on himself and his relationship with Haeun. However, he made clear that he wouldn't stop seeing Jimin. And although Jaewon highly disagreed with his decision, he stopped talking badly about the model and let him "figure this out by himself."
"I can't wait to visit him and Hayi Unnie!" The little girl laughed, looking forward to having a sleepover with them. She was also happy that her parents were going to spend some time together and celebrate their 'anniversary'. Haeun didn't really understand what that meant, and even though Seohyun had tried to explain the concept to her, all she cared about was the fact that she would be able to play with her father's friends.
"Where's Mommy?" Jungkook asked, letting Haeun lead him into the hallway.
"Upstairs! She's talking to someone on the phone."
"Huh? Do you know who it is?"
"Nope, but she didn't sound very happy."
Jungkook frowned. It was already getting late, and Seohyun usually didn't get any calls at that time- unless it was work-related.
"I'll be right back, honey. Go play with your dolls," he said and Haeun nodded, letting go of his hand to walk into the living room. Jungkook went upstairs and approached the bedroom from which he could hear Seohyun's angry voice.
"No. I don't care if Mom's being nice to you again, stop contacting me. You only need money, that's why you called. Stay away from us," she uttered before hanging up and sitting down on the bed, hands caressing her forehead.
"Seohyun?"
"Huh?" Seohyun seemed startled at first, but her expression softened after seeing Jungkook stand at the door frame, "Oh, hey babe. Did you have fun at the bar?"
"Mhm. It was nice," he replied and put his bag down. The woman watched him loosen his tie, forcing herself to remain calm and smile. Jungkook however knew her well enough to look right through the mask.
"Who were you talking to?"
"No one."
"Don't lie to me. I heard the last part," the doctor snorted and crossed his arms, standing in front of her. Seohyun avoided his eyes, but Jungkook wasn't having any of it.
"Seohyun, look at me."
"Ugh, fine!" She sighed and ran a hand through her dark hair, "It was Donghae."
"What?" Jungkook frowned, his eyes widening, "When did you start talking to him again?"
"I didn't, really. He keeps contacting me and my parents. Donghae managed to wrap Mom around his finger, and I'm pretty sure that she was the one who gave him my phone number."
