Jungkook felt uneasy.

Jimin was currently sitting beside him, his head resting on the older's chest as they watched a famous TV show. It had been two hours since he'd showed up at his apartment for their planned date, and until now, the doctor hadn't found the courage to finally speak about Jimin's past and Seohyun's request of having another child. The younger seemed calm, and Jungkook wasn't so sure if he wanted to ruin the peaceful mood.

Maybe he shouldn't talk about it and just try to have a good time? Maybe this wouldn't end well and only make things more complicated?

But Jungkook wanted answers.

No, he needed answers.

Answers only Jimin could give him. So with a deep sigh, he abruptly turned the TV off, making his lover sit up almost immediately.

"Hey, why did you turn it off? I love that show!

"We need to talk."

"Can't we do this later? I really wanna find out who he's going to choose," Jimin whined and reached out for the remote control, but Jungkook was fast enough to toss it on another sofa, earning a glare from the younger.

"This is annoying, I already had an exhausting day. Why won't you let me relax for a bit?"

"Babe, it's been two hours. You should've regained your energy by now," the doctor argued, "I'm serious, we need to talk."

They stared at each other in silence. Jungkook seemed pretty determined to have this conversation, and even though he was annoyed, Jimin decided to let him speak about the things that bothered him. In that way, Jungkook wouldn't continue getting on his nerves and instead enjoy their date, too.

The sooner we talk, the sooner I can turn my show back on.

"Ugh, fine. What is it?"

Okay, he had his attention now. Jungkook needed to be careful with his words. This was obviously a sensitive topic, and he didn't want to fuck it up. Not with Jimin.

"I'm kinda scared," he admitted.

"Why? Is it that bad?"

"Huh? No! I mean.. I don't know. I don't want you to get uncomfortable. Or angry."

Jimin looked up, a frown on his face. Jungkook's nervous smile made him tense up too, and after a few seconds, he understood what the doctor was implying to.

Jungkook was going to bring up his past. He knew it. After Taehyung hadn't been able to keep his mouth shut, of course Jungkook would want to know more.

But Jimin wasn't ready to open up yet. He didn't want to talk about these things. Not with Jungkook. Not with anyone.

No.

No, he wouldn't talk about it.

Never.

And if Jungkook dared to force him, then Jimin could easily kick him out. Or yell at him. Or start crying. Or threaten to call the security.

Yes, he'd go that far.

Jimin would do anything. As long as they didn't talk about-

"It's about Seohyun."

The model hadn't even noticed that he was holding his breath until that very moment.

Seohyun?

Seohyun.

God, Jimin had never been so relieved to hear her name. He immediately started to loosen up after realizing that they wouldn't speak about the things Taehyung had told Jungkook, and although it sounded very important, Jimin couldn't help but roll his eyes at him. Sure, he was happy that Jungkook wouldn't ask about his past. But at the same time, the model didn't want to talk about Seohyun on their date. Not when this was his time to spend with Jungkook. She had no right to ruin their moment. Tonight, the man belonged to him.
