Chapter 5 - Kidnapped

Paul's P.O.V.

The first thing I did this morning was buy a ring for Amanda. Besides, we've been dating for five years and I think it's time to move our relationship to the next level.

After exiting the jewelry store, I heard a noise from behind me. I thought I was hearing things since there was nobody there. I made my way towards my car until I heard the same noise from a second ago. So I decided to investigate.

"Hello? Who's there?" I asked. No reply. Come on, Paul, pull it together! You're clearly hearing things. I shrugged my shoulders and continued on my way, until out of nowhere...

CLANG!!!

Someone came up from behind and whacked me in the head. I fell to the ground and everything went black.

Jade's P.O.V.

I was going for my morning stroll until I saw this strange woman knock Paul out after hitting him with a frying pan. The woman then drags Paul's unconscious body away. I decided to follow her and see where she takes him.

I was then lead to some sort of dungeon. I peeked into the room and saw the woman chain Paul's ankles up. She was then coming in my direction. So I hid against the wall so she wouldn't see me.

Paul's P.O.V.

I woke up in an unfamiliar place. I looked around at my surroundings and the room was completely empty. There was a door right in front of me. I stood up and headed towards it, but I was suddenly pulled back. I looked down and realized that my legs were chained up. I tried to break the chains, but they wouldn't break.

A woman in a black and red gown entered the room and gave me an evil smirk. "Hello, Paul McCartney." She said. "Who are you, and why did you bring me here?" I asked with frustration. "My name is Zelda, and I brought you here because you're gonna marry me in the next 24 hours!" The woman said. "What?!" I yelled in shock. "That's right. The minute I saw your face, I realized that you were perfect for me! So you'll be mine forever soon!" Said Zelda.

"No, I'm not gonna be your husband! You can't make me!" I said angrily. "Oh, yes you are! And I can make you do anything I want! You're gonna be my husband and that's final!" Zelda said angrily. "In case you aren't aware, I already have true love in my life!" I said. "That true love isn't me! But it will be in the next 24 hours!" Said Zelda. "No it won't! Just you wait until Amanda hears about this!" I yelled. "Who is this Amanda you speak of?" Zelda asked. "She's my girlfriend! And if I'm gonna marry someone, it's her!" I yelled.

I could feel my blood boiling as Zelda is starting to get on my last nerve. "Not anymore! The only one who's allowed to have you now is me and only me!" Yelled Zelda. "I'll never be yours, you monster!" I screamed. Zelda lets out a loud gasp. "How dare you?! I'm not gonna stand here and listen to you call your future wife names!" She yelled. "You're not my..."

SLAP!!!

Before I could finish my sentence, Zelda slapped me. "Not another word, McCartney! If I hear you say one more rejection, you're gonna be sorry!" She said. I glared at her. "Go ahead, glare all you want! Soon that will turn into a smile when our wedding starts!" She said with a sneer. I then rolled my eyes at her. "Yeah, right. I'd rather eat rocks!" I said.

SLAP!!!

Zelda slaps me again. Now both of my cheeks are red and sore. "I thought I told you not to say another word!" Said Zelda. I opened my mouth and she raised her hand to slap me again. So I closed my mouth to not risk getting hit since my face is in enough pain already. Zelda puts her hand down. "That's what I thought." She said. I let out a frustrated sigh and hung my head.

"Now if you'll excuse me, I have a wedding to plan." Zelda said. She makes her way towards the door but stops halfway, turning her attention back to me. "And I'm gonna make sure you never escape... EVER!!!" She said.

Zelda takes what seemed to be a gas mask out of her dress pocket and puts it over her mouth. She then walks over to a lever that's on the wall and pulls it. Smoke began filling the room. With a smirk, Zelda leaves the room, closes the door, and locks it, leaving me all alone.

As the smoke continued to fill the room, I started to feel drowsy. It suddenly occurred to me that it wasn't smoke, it was sleeping gas! My whole body started to feel very heavy as the entire room began to spin. About a minute later, I hit the floor and blacked out again.

Jade's P.O.V.

I couldn't believe what I just heard! That wicked woman (whose name happens to be Zelda) wants to marry Paul! I went to the door of where Paul is trapped and wiggled the doorknob, only to realize the door was locked.

"I have to to tell Amanda about this!" I yelled. So I ran out of the creepy place to find Amanda and tell her about this psychotic girl.

Amanda's P.O.V.

I sat by the phone, patiently waiting for Paul to call me. Ten minutes pass, then twenty, then thirty, and so on. It's already been a whole hour and Paul still hasn't called me like he promised! So I decided to go out and look for him.

I drove all over town and there was no sign of Paul. I even went to the same park we went to last night. He was still nowhere to be found! I then saw John sitting on a bench. I walked over to him and he greeted me with a smile.

"John, John! Thank goodness I found you!" I said anxiously. "What's going on, Amanda? Why are you in such a panic?" Asked John. "I can't find Paul! Have you seen him at all?!" I asked with my voice trembling. "Not since yesterday. Why?" John asked. "He was supposed to call me this afternoon, but he never did!" I cried.

Tears began stinging my eyes. I knew just then I was about to cry. John stands up and wraps me into a hug. "I'm worried about him, John! What if he's... MISSING?!?!" I asked in a panic. "I'm sure he's around here somewhere. But if you know for certain that he is missing, call the police." Said John. He releases me from the hug and I nod. "You're right. Thanks for your help." I said. "Anytime, kiddo." John said. "Hey, I see George! I'm gonna ask him if he's seen Paul." I said.

I say goodbye to John as I run over to George. He smiles when he sees me. "Hi, Amanda. Fancy seeing you here." He said. "Hi, George. Do you happen to know where Paul is?" I asked. "I don't, sorry." Said George. "I was afraid you'd say that." I said. "Why?" George asked. "I just saw John earlier and asked him, but he hasn't seen him either!" I said.

I felt my anxiety overflowing. George puts his hands on my shoulders. "Calm down, Amanda! Paul is probably somewhere else. I don't know where exactly, but I wouldn't worry too much." He said. I shrug my shoulders. "Maybe you're right. Paul shouldn't be too far away." I said. I give George a quick hug. "Thank you, George." I said. "You're welcome, love." George said.

I say goodbye to George and continued my search for Paul. While I was still looking, I find Ringo. I walk over to him and he gives me a smile. "Hello, Amanda. How are you this fine afternoon?" He asked. "I'm panicking, Ringo!" I yelled. "Why are you panicking?" Asked Ringo. "First off, you wouldn't happen to know where Paul is, would you?" I asked. "I'm afraid I don't know where he is. I haven't seen him all day." Ringo said.

I fall to my knees and buried my face into my hands. I became a sobbing mess. Ringo bends down to my level and rubs my back. "There, there. Try to relax." He said. "Relax?! How can I relax if my boyfriend is nowhere to be found?!" I asked in a panic. Ringo holds his hands up and slowly backs away. I stand up afterwards. "Sorry. I'm just worried." I said. "I understand, love. But if you keep looking, I'm sure you'll find Paul." Said Ringo. "Then I will. Thanks, Ringo." I said. Ringo nods. I give him a quick hug. "Good luck on your search." He said. "I'll need it." I said.

I say goodbye to Ringo and walk slowly back to my car. I drive back home and find Jade in front of my house, pacing back and forth. "Jade?" I asked. "Amanda! Thank goodness you're here!" Said Jade in a panic. She traps me into a hug. After she lets go, she breathes very heavily.

"Okay, you're my last hope. Do you know where Paul is?" I asked. "Yes!" Jade said. "Oh my gosh, where is he?!" I asked in a panic. Jade hesitates to speak. She finally says something after a minute. "He's been kidnapped!!" She said. "WHAT?!?!" I yelled. "But I know where he is! Come with me!" Said Jade. She grabs my arm and takes me to where Paul is so we can save him.
