I couldn't deny that Jisoo was right, even some cuddling and comfort was enough to feel better.
And, when hugging Jisoo, well, her embrace felt so familiar, so reassuring, so gentle... It was as if Kim Jisoo, my childhood friend was hugging me, but the fact that they shared the same name and had the same embrace was just a coincidence, right? «Khm, unnie...» I called her looking up at her as she hummed «Can you tell me something?» «What?» she looked down at me «Perhaps did you- Ah, ani, nothing, nothing. I'm not exactly a fan of it.» She rolled her eyes «Then you should behave. If you behave you won't get punished haven't I told you before?» My smile faded and I glared at her, crossing my arms «And didn't I told you that they punish me just for breathing?» She scoffed «You're being dramatic.» I spat out acid «Stick by me and you'll see.» «Fine, let's see.»

After we got ready and went out the door, I told Jisoo «Today stick by me all the time. You'll see if I'm not right.» She nodded «Fine. If you're right I'm gonna help you when I can. If not, you'll start behaving perfectly.» I smirked and grabbed her hand shaking it «Deal. I know I'll win.»
«Lisa!!» Irene's voice echoed behind us, making me froze as the older grabbed my wrist and turned me around «Can we talk? Please... I need to explain what you saw...» I scoffed and freed my arm «I perfectly know what I saw and what did it mean. Go to her, go to your Seulgi. We're done.» Irene's eyes started watering «Lisa, baby, no, please. I only love you.» «Don't "baby" me, I'm not yours anymore. You should have thought about me before making out with your best friend. I don't want to see you anymore Juhyun. It hasn't even been a month and you cheated on me. Unbelievable.» I snapped shaking my head and grabbing Jisoo's hand, dragging her away towards class.
«Lisa» started Jisoo «Are you sure about your choice? Are you okay?» I sighed and let her wrist go for then show my hands in my pocket «I'm not 100% sure but it doesn't matter. I ain't some kind of toy. And no, I'm not fine, but I'll be.... Let's not talk about this.» Jisoo hummed «Fine...»
As we reached the classroom, as I already didn't have a enough movement in the morning, the principal voice called me sternly «Manoban!» I sighed and turned around, Jisoo looking at me confused as I side glanced at her mumbling «Told ya...» The principal reached us and harshly grabbed the upper part of my arm «Punishments room.» Jisoo's eyes widened as she grabbed my wrist asking «What did she do?» The principal seemed hesitant but then said «She broke some rules right before coming to class.» Jisoo glared at him «False. You're Catholic, doesn't God taught us that lying is bad? Then why are you?» The principal looked taken aback as he composed himself quickly «I-» he cleared his throat «I'm not.» Jisoo scoffed crossing her arms «You are. Miss Manoban has been with me all this time. And she's done nothing.» His eyes widened as he let go of me «If you say so, then I must have been misinformed. I apologize.» he quickly went away definitely wanting to escape the problematic situation as Jisoo looked at me, who was looking at her cynically «I told you they would have punished me, just because I'm me. Didn't I?» She pursed her lips «He said he was misinformed.» I shook mt head sighing and showing my hands in my pockets «Of course you wouldn't believe me...» I turned around ready to ditch class when she grabbed my shirt stopping me «You're not going to ditch classes when I just helped you out. And if I have to stick with you the whole day, then you must follow the school day properly.» I groaned «What's the point? You're gonna find a reason to don't believe me anyway.» «I just want to be sure Lalisa. I'm not someone who likes making mistakes, nor I'm aloud to.» Jisoo explained «Everybody makes mistakes, aloud or not. It's part of the human kind. Start living for the love of Bhudda instead of living like a caged bird.» I freed myself and went in class followed by a silent Jisoo. I quietly scoffed and reminded myself why I was befriending her.
