A/N: I decided it wasn't worth making a chapter just for this note, since very few people follow the story and those who follow either don't care much or are my friends.

I think I just got discouraged with Voltron, so it's hard for me to write about the series, I don't plan to stop, just might make very few updates. I hope you are having a great day.

You stared at the ghost, eyes lost in his brown hair, then tracing all his features, trying to memorize it in case he was an illusion. His lips tried to formulate words, but it just opened and closed without any sound being emitted. You tried moving your legs, but they were also paralyzed; there were few cycles since you met the paladins and from then on your heart kept on feeling emotions that had been dormant all these deca-phoebs, you didn't know if it would be able to handle anymore. The man was running towards you, but before he could reach Keith and Lance were already in a defensive position, blocking his way. You could only stare, astonished by the ghost of your past.

"Who are you?" Keith hissed, positioning his sword to aim at the man's chest. His other hand in front of you, a protective action.

"Don't touch in my (y/n)!" Lance screamed, pointing one of the pipes at the man.

"Your (y/n)?!" He looked both offended and angry, with his fist ready to punch Lance, "She!" he started, being unintimidated by Keith's sword, "She is my! ...wait...Who the hell are you?!" Both his voice and his body language were hostile, his fists closed and ready for a fight.

"Answer my question first" Keith brought the sword even closer, at this point your heart was beating so hard that it hurt. Your hand was attracted to the pain, in a meaningless hope that would be able to stop it.

"Yeah! Answer his question!" Lance was threatening him with the pipe, "You buffed male nightmare!"

"Spells and curses!" the man screamed, "Get out of my way!" he was about to pull them both out of the way, but before he could, but before he could take any action everyone in the room was alerted by a lightning strike that struck the metal building, you fell to your knees, hyperventilating. The sensation was the worst you've ever felt in your life, it didn't look like anxiety, it didn't even look like a heart attack, it was like your energy was being drained.

"(Y/N)!" All three shouted and ran towards you, but you couldn't focus your gaze on anything, overwhelmed by the feeling of death's approach.

"Give her some room, let her breathe!" Keith said, holding on to your shoulders so he could get you down on the ground. Your hand reached Lance's, which seemed to be in panic and distress, but he held it tight to provide you with comfort. You searched for the third man, but could only assume he went to get something, from the noises in the background. The pain flared once more and every muscle in your body tensed up.

"(y/n)!" Lance called, apprehensive with his own voice tone so as not to scare you, "(y..(y/n) I..I'm...I'm here with you! Stay calm, e...everything will...will be fine! Keith, Keith is an asshole, but he knows what he's doing!" he gave you a frightened smile.

"Goddamnit! Where is it?" you heard noises of things being thrown everywhere, and what you assumed was the man desperately looking for something. Your body struggled to stay alive, but gradually the strength was drained, you didn't know what was happening, only that you didn't want to die.

"It hurts," you cried with the little air you had left, "Please stop, please," your eyes met with Lance's, who gripped your hand even harder. Tears flowed through the paladin's eyes and you knew yours wasn't much better either. You wanted to scream, but the voice wouldn't come out: 'It hurts! It hurts so much! I can't take this anymore! Somebody make it stop! I need help! I don't want to die! PLEASE, I BEG YOU!' words that were never spoken.

"Guys, hurry up!" Lance screamed.

"I found it!" The man shouted in a relieved tone, you heard footsteps running towards you, and a desperate face holding an object that you recognized well: one of the elementals' amulets, the necklace with a ring, "Hang in there, (y/n)," he said as the necklace was put on you.
