"Matt?"

"Hey! How are you feeling?"

"I'm ok thanks for asking...what are you doing here?"

"Well...this is kind of the neighborhood I live in...and a public park that I always run at?"

"Wait I thought you lived in the university?"

"Well I used to but it got too expensive...you're really that shocked that I'm here huh?"

"Well...it has been an off kind of week for me... even if it just started,"

"Right...sorry again about everything that's happening-"

"HEY! LEAVE HER ALONE!" yelled Shannon, clearly she ran because she was out of breath

"Hey, Shan...this is Matt,"  I said calming her down.

"Oh! Sorry about that!" She went bright red when she met Matt's eyes.

"No worries, I understand especially after all this mess you're in at the moment..."

"Yea, hey I meant to apologize for what happened yesterday...and thanks again for helping me out too," I said smiling.

"No need to apologize or say thanks, anyone would've done what I did," he smiled.

Well, what the heck are you supposed to reply to that?

Sensing my confusion and awkwardness Shannon spoke up. "Well, it was nice meeting you, Matt. I think Melissa and I should head back now though". We all said our goodbyes and went our own way.

"Hmm...I get some type of feeling about that guy but man is he dreamy!" I rolled my eyes at Shannon.

"Too bad, I still wanted to run..."

"Jeez, Mel! If you run any longer you'll turn into a stick!" I laughed.

"Oh come on Shan! That was totally uncalled for haha! You just hate running!" She just rolled her eyes and opened our apartment door. It was around 10:30 when we returned and Bryan was still asleep.

"Hmm...is he alright??" Shan asked.

"Uh, I'm not 100% but we shouldn't wake him up. Remember what happened last time-"

"We do not speak of that day! We swore on it!" she screeched. It was about a year ago when the incident happened...We barged into Bryan's room on his birthday to surprise him with a cake we baked for him. Barging into his room didn't seem like a terrible idea until his towel fell...Ever since then Shannon and I swore to never barge into his room nor to speak of the incident. Instead, Shannon and I decided to just watch TV in our room, until he woke up.

"Melissa? I thought you had a big date today?" he asked shocked and a bit sarcastic too...

"He told me to lay low after what happened yesterday...so we canceled," I said burying my face with my blanket.

"Oh, my bad...so what's the move today then?"

"Well don't cancel your plans because of me...I know you both have to go do another photoshoot-"

"What! We're not going to leave you!" Shannon screamed.

"Yea! What kind of friends would we be if we did that?!" piped in Bryan.

I just rolled my eyes. "Shan, this is worth 25% of your grade and Bryan you promised her that you would help. I'll be alright. I'll order take out from Anna's. Now go!" I said ushering them out of my room.

"Well, hey! I gotta shower you know!"

"Oh right! Sorry, I forgot we even ran...if that's what you call running," I smirked
