It was finally Friday and even though I had a blast at Disney World with my best friends I couldn't wait to see Chris! He was picking us up from the airport.

C- I just parked! Can't wait to see you :)

M- Good morning to you too haha
M- Can't wait either!

We just landed in LA. I had Chris's Red Sox cap and some sunglasses on all because of my friends.

"Look, it's too early in the morning to be photographed...unless you're Shannon who's wearing a full face of makeup just in case," said Bryan rolling his eyes. We were walking towards the baggage claim. We all waited around until I felt hands wrapping my waist causing me to yelp until I heard his chuckle.

"Hey" he greeted.

"Chris!" I exclaimed when I turned around to kiss him. He picked me up and hugged me. I couldn't be happier. When we finally separated so he could greet my friends.

"Hey Chris, how's it going man?" he said extending his arm. Chris shook it.

"I'm good thanks, how was Disney World?" He asked walking over to hug Shan.

"Hi, Chris," she said hugging him.

"Hey, Shannon," he smiled at her.

"Ok wait, wait, wait," Shan stopped Chris and me and pulled out her phone, "I just gotta show you two how you look," she laughed taking a picture of Chris and me. We shared a confused look until she shoved her phone towards our faces. Chris and I both had caps and sunglasses on, which made us both laugh. Chris kissed my temple.

"What can we say? Great minds think alike," he chuckled. We all walked out of the airport. Once we got to his car, he helped Bryan put the luggage in the trunk while Shan and I got in.

"I'm really happy for you Mel," she said in the back seat smiling at me.

"You're the best Shan," I said trying my best to give her a good hug.

"What did we miss?" asked Bryan as he and Chris got in the car.

"Nothing you don't already know," she answered making me laugh when I saw Bryan roll his eyes.

We finally reached our home.

"Welcome back!" greeted Nick, Shan's older brother when we opened the door.

"Nick!" I greeted hugging him. "This is Chris-" he interrupted me,

"OF COURSE I KNOW WHO CHRIS IS! YO! Man, what's up, I'm Nicholas Tanner, Shannon's brother," he said shaking Chris's hand aggressively.

"OK, Nick, you can stop shaking his hand now," Shan said pulling him back. Chris just laughed and came to sit next to me and wrapped his arm around me.

"Hey, you tired?" he whispered.

"A little, but nothing a little coffee can't fix," I smiled.

"Ready for our surprise date?" he asked.

"Yes!" I scream whispered. I stood up to go get changed but Chris stopped me.

"Babe, it's 6:30am," he chuckled.

"And?" I asked still excited.

"You don't want to nap?" he asked making my heart warm.

"You're right," I said still standing. "I'll make a bag," I said winking, which made him laugh. I walked into my bedroom and saw Goose sound asleep.

"Mel!" I screamed making her laugh and ultimately waking poor Goose.

"What the hell Shan!" I said laughing kneeling down to pet Goose.
