18: Endgame Premiere

--The week before Chris and Melissa went public--

Matt

"What do you mean I'm kicked out?! It's my last year and I haven't been paying thousands of dollars to get kicked out!" I screamed at the Chancellor

"Mr. Robinson, please lower your voice. The only reason why you're in this situation is because of you. Trying to bribe your professors into letting you pass, cheating on your exams, and plagiarism in more than 3 papers. All of this only in this quarter. There is nothing I can do. As of today, you are no longer enrolled at UCLA nor will you be able to enroll again," he said closing Matt's file. Matt stormed out of his office.

This is all Melissa's fault. If she had just decided to date me instead of that, that prick! This wouldn't be happening. Fuck! He exclaimed when he hit something or someone.

"Yo Matt, how's it going?" asked Bryan.

"Hey Bryan, not so well. I just got kicked out,"

"For what? Aren't you a straight-A student?" he asked raising his eyebrows.

"Well yea, but I was cheating so no not really. Look I gotta go," he said without waiting for a response.

Just you watch Melissa, you're going to pay for this. You're going to pay for making me do all of this.

--Present Day--

Melissa

"Are you sure about this?" I asked Chris. Today was Endgame's premiere.

"I am...unless you don't feel sure about it," he said nervously

"I'm nervous...this is our first public appearance as a couple and in front of millions,"

"I'm nervous too and this isn't my first premiere. Mel, you're gonna be fine, I'm going to be with you plus I really want you to meet everyone," he said holding my hand.

"Still nervous," I said but agreed.

When we arrived I felt my blood leave my face. There were thousands of people waiting for us.

"Hey," he whispered "you're going to be fine, I'm here," he said kissing me. I smiled at him and nodded. When he stepped out everyone instantly called out his name. He turned and held out his hand for me. I took a deep breath and took his hand. We were instantly the center of attention. Chris's manager told us that he should take some interviews.

"Chris! How are you tonight?" asked an interviewer from E! I just gladly stood behind him with his manager.

"I'm great! Can't believe the day is finally here," he beamed

"I see you brought Melissa! When did the two of you start dating?" Chris turned towards me and I knew he wanted me by his side.

"We started dating in March after my birthday," he said holding me by the waist.

"How do you feel to be dating the Chris Evans!?" she asked me.

"It feels surreal when you say it that way but when we're together, no one's famous we're just ourselves," I said leaning towards Chris.

"You heard it here folks. Well congratulation to both of you," she said and turned towards other guests.

"How do you feel?" he whispered.

"Not too bad at the moment," I smiled at him.

"I'm glad you said that," he pecked my cheek. We continued going around being interviewed until it was time for the pictures. Chris went first when I started having a conversation with some of his friends. "Mel!" he called for me. He had his hand extended for me and I smiled. I excused myself and walked with my arm extended as well and hugged him when I reached him. He kissed my head and we looked towards the cameras. Everything seemed normal but inside, I was fighting the knot in my throat and the sense of running away from the spotlight.
