Chase

I ran as fast as I would to the location.

I felt her smell getting stronger and stronger.

If he hurt her I swear to god I'll kill him.

When I got to the location I saw her just standing there.

"Zuri" I called out.

She turned around and smiled at me.

"Hey you," she said, walking to me.

"Are you okay?" I asked looking her over.

"Never better can we go home now" she asked, hugging me.

"Umm yea sure" I said walking her back to where I believe Owen is.

Jane

"John!!!"I yelled out for the 7th time today.

We have been going like wild animals , don't know what she gave me but it's some good stuff.

John pulled out of me and laid next to me.

"That....was.....everything" he said catching his breath.

I smiled and laid on him.

"Yes it was," I said, kissing his chest.

"We should get dressed," he said.

"Why" I asked.

I heard the front door open.

"Mama"one of the girls said.

He smiled at me.

"That's why"

I rolled my eyes and got up.

He gave me some cloths and went in the bathroom.

The second I placed them over my head the door opened.

"Mama, oh my god," Jayda said, hugging me.

"What's wrong?" I asked, confused.

"This kid tried to take me and jade," she said.

"What" I asked feeling what chassitiy gave me going away.

My husband came out of the bathroom and walked to them.

"Are you guys okay" he asked.

"I...i.. I feel different, 'Jayda said.

"What do yo-"

"I marked her , okay? This guy only wanted to take them because he didn't have a mate so I marked her so he wouldn't come after her any more. Yes I know she's not ready for what comes with it but I had to. I could ask my mother if she can give her something that will slow down the effects , but only if you guys want." Owen said.

I know how it feels the first couple of months being marked.

I felt so dependent on him for everything.
