Diary,
Today is the Birthday of my big love!!! My bro, Dan UHUUL \o/
I'm so proud of him! He is turning 18 years old!
I didn't imagine, my parents never gave me hope about this - although I always asked them for one little brother/ sister. Buuuut in one beautiful day, they gave me this big- wonderful news.
I remember the day that I (and all my family) discovered the baby's sex. I was 9 years old and I was in my Grandma's house. There were my grandma, aunts and cousins - one normal day, as I always went to my grandma's house after class. So, I was playing with my cousins and the phone rang; my aunt Martha answered the phone and at the same time she started to smile and look at me. She said "IT'S A BOY! IT'S A BOY!" All people in the living room started screaming and jumping joyfully. I wanted so much one brother - I don't know how to explain, I just wanted a little boy as bro. I will always remember this day.
Initially, we got worried because my mom was 37 years old when she became pregnant, but the gestation was great and the day that Daniel was born was so funny! I remember that my mom was finishing her monography and my daddy shouted "COME ON! WE HAVE TO GO OR THIS CHILD WILL BE BORN HERE!" and my mom saved her monography in a floppy disk (old but gold with its 1.44MB) and went to the hospital.
Since this March 30 from2004, my life changed and changed for better. I got the best gift ever. I saw him growing up, dreaming and realizing projects - and I hope that I will see much more. I saw his change from a child to a man. I know that the 18th birthday is not too much (now that I'm 27, I know it), but it is a mark, it is the real start in the "adult life" and I hope that Daniel becomes a great man - even more responsible, intelligent, kind and incredible than he already is.
For today this is it. I need to go, I have an 18-year party to prepare. Until tomorrow!!
Nath.
