Tommy sat on a grassy hill in the near middle of nowhere, gazing up at the stars. The soft breeze blew through his hair, making it flow behind him in dark waves.
In the forest behind the oldest tree, there stood an angel, his soft golden glow and pure white wings just short of blinding against the foilage. He, Vince, peered at the human he'd been sent to watch over.
'I would not be surprised if he told me he was sent from heaven as well,'the angel mused, playing with his platinum blonde hair. He bit his lip,"How should I introduce myself. Surely I can't just...walk up to him."
Vince then noticed a squirrel tugging on the hem of his white gown. He knelt down, holding a hand to the creature,"Hello, my little friend." As he pet the squirrel, an idea came to him,"Do you see that boy over there, little one? See if you can bring him to me."
The rodent nodded and scampered off in the human's direction.
Tommy had his eyes closed, listening to the sound of the grass blowing in the breeze until he felt a sudden weight in his lap. He looked down and yelped to find a squirrel there, looking up at him with innocent black eyes. He wanted to scream and throw the thing off but...something about it drew him to listen as the creature began chattering and pointing.
He didn't know exactly what the squirrel said, but somehow, he understood. The squirrel jumped off him and ran ahead, stopping every so often to make sure Tommy was following it.
As they got closer to the trees, Lee felt a strange aura consume him. He felt warm, safe, loved, protected. The squirrel reached a single tree and rapped on it with its tiny paw.
Tommy felt the aura tenfold as he viewed the strange glow that emitted from it. Then his eyes widened as a blonde boy in a white gown stepped out from behind the tree, smiling down at the squirrel. Large, golden-white wings sprouted from his back and a halo floated above his head of lavish, platinum blonde hair.
"You did well, my friend,"the boy's echoing voice touched Tommy's very soul. The blonde gave the creature a piece of fruit from seemingly nowhere, and it scampered off into the night. Then he looked up and stood to his full height. Even with his heavenly appearance, he was still much shorter than Tommy. He bowed, wings stretching to their full length above him,"Thomas Lee Bass. A pleasure to meet you."
Finally, Tommy found his voice,"Wh-what are you? How do you know my name?" He was shaking slightly, despite the warming feeling that the boys' golden aura gave off.
The blonde smiled,"Simple. I am your guardian angel. I know everything about you. Including that you wish to be called Tommy Lee am I correct?"
Tommy nodded, mouth still hanging open slightly,"I....I..um...fu-sorry. You're...you're fucking beautiful. Then again that must be superficial, most angels probably are..."
The angel laughed. A sound so melodious it turned Lee's insides to liquid,"Tommy, I must say, you are very amusing. Head Angel knows how to pick well. See, angels often look very much like humans. While yes, we are generally known for being more attractive, that's not always the case. We don't rightfully care about outward appearance."
The blonde grasped Tommy's hands and a jolt of an unbearably good feeling flowed through him. He gazed into the angel's eyes, fully taking in those sweet looking lips and sky blue eyes,"You've gotta be one of the prettiest then. I...I feel so drawn to you, Vince. Wait...is that your...how did I know your name?"
Vince smiled again, resting his hand on Tommy's face, brushing his hair from his eyes,"Because we are connected. In mind, body, and soul. I am yours and you are mine."
Suddenly, the human felt himself leaning towards the angel,"Is...is it wrong to want to kiss your guardian angel?" Vince blushed a light, rosy color,"Are you expressing your desire I kiss you, Tommy?"
The human began shaking again as he wrapped his arms around Vince's slim waist. He was surprised to feel solid matter beneath his skin. He was expecting Vince to be like a sort of ghost,"I...I guess I am. Is...Is that wierd?"
"Well...there is no rule in The Book that says a guardian angel cannot love their human. So I suppose not. I find you very attractive, Thomas. I want to be with you for all eternity," Vince murmured as their lips brushed. God his real name had never sounded so good,"I love you, Vince. My heavenly soulmate." Tommy gingerly pushed their lips together, savoring the powerful stream of joy and warmth that flowed through him.
