Meet My Family (Tommy x Nikki)

Mick was minding his own business, watching the coffee brew when Nikki came barging in screaming.

The bassist grabbed his shoulders and shook him,"MY LIFE IS ABOUT TO END! THIS IS IT!"

"Whoa, Sixx. Slow down, you're gonna throw my back out," Mick cried out, gripping the younger man's wrists and digging his nails in. Thankfully, Nikki got the message and backed off.

"Now...what's wrong?"

"Tommy..he-I-asdfjsdflkjks!" 

Mick rolled his eyes,"English, bassist." Nikki, voice trembling, gasped out,"T-Tommy wants me to meet his parents."

"So? Then go and meet them. I'm sure you'll be fine," Mick said, pouring his coffee. As he drank Nikki began pacing, running his hands through his wild hair,"Mick, you don't want to understand. He wants to introduce me as his boyfriend!"

The guitarist clicked his tongue,"Look. I've met the kid's folks before. They're real nice, accepting. I'm sure they won't judge you for being gay and they've seen through media how close you two are. They'll know you're perfect for Tommy."

Nikki exhaled softly,"Yeah...I...I suppose you're right. Thanks."

A few days later, he and Tommy were driving up to meet the younger's parents. The drummer was smiling, bouncing of the walls with excitement,"I can't wait for them to meet you, baby. I'm going to spend the whole time telling them just how fucking amazing you are!"

Nikki had grown increasingly anxious over the past few days. He gripped the steering wheel tightly with one hand, the other searching for Tommy's. Lee smiled and laced their fingers together,"You're scared aren't you?" He leaned over and trailed soft kisses over his lover's neck and jaw until Nikki relaxed under his touch.

"Sorry, baby just...I can be a real shitty person, y'know," Sixx mumbled, biting his lip. He didn't want to screw it up with Tommy's parents. If they hated him....well he didn't know what he would do if he lost this beautiful boy he was so lucky to call his own. As they pulled up to the street Tommy grew up on, he felt tears run down his cheeks. He parked the car and cupped Tommy's face in his hands,"I can't lose you, Tommy. Not after wanting you for so long." 

He kisses the drummer almost desperately. Lee is slightly shocked, but kisses back nonetheless, wiping his lover's tears away with his thumbs. They pull apart and Nikki gets out of the car. He walks around to Tommy's side. Still sniffling, he opens the door for the younger man.

"My, such a gentleman~" Tommy jokes when Nikki kisses his hand as he steps out. Sixx wraps an arm around his waist and they walk to the front door. Tommy runs up and knocks rapidly. The door opens and a woman stands their. She has Tommy's big, chocolate brown eyes and Nikki can see his full lips in her as well. This was undoubtedly, the drummer's mother.

His guess is confirmed as the woman bursts into a grin, embracing his boyfriend in a tight hug,"Thomas! How wonderful to see you!" Then she looks over his shoulder and sees Nikki standing there in all his fluffed up hair and...oh shit, he forgot to wipe of his makeup. He must look a fucking mess.

"You are Nikki?" Tommy's mother asks, releasing her son. The bassist nods and extends his hand,"It's nice to meet you Mrs. Lee." She smiles and shakes his hand,"Come in, Athena and David will want to meet you as well."

They follow her inside and Tommy leans over to whisper,"You're doing great, babe." Nikki blushed, their shoulders brushing. They followed Mrs. Lee into the living room where man Sixx knew to be Tommy's father sat on the sofa. When he saw Tommy he stood up and hugged him tightly before ruffling his son's fluffy hair,"Hey tiger, good to see you!"

"Dad! My hair!" Tommy laughed, making Nikki's heart melt. Tommy was lucky to have such great parents. Then a girl came running downstairs. Nikki was surprised to see that she was blonde, though she had Tommy's smile and excited squeal. She threw her arms around Lee,"Tommy! Hi! Are you off tour? Are you gonna stay longer this time? Did you bring me anything?"

Tommy laughed and looked up at Nikki,"Meet my little sister, Nikki. She asks a ton of questions whenever I visit." Athena looked up and her jaw dropped, a star struck, curious look in her eyes,"Um...hey. I...I really like your guy's stuff." Nikki grinned,"Thanks. Tommy's an amazing drummer." He wrapped his arm around Tommy's waist and his lover blushed.

He then turned to his family, still red faced. Athena gave her brother a knowing glance,"Tooommmy?"

The drummer took a deep breath,"I...I have something to tell all of you." His father crossed his arms and his mother had a worried expression on his face.

"I...Nikki and I are together. I fell in love with him during Shout and the Devil and we've been going steady ever since," Nikki bit his lip, waiting for Tommy's family to freak out. But rather, their faces relaxed, Mr. Lee putting hand on his chest,"Oh, is that all?"

Tommy and Nikki exchanged glances. "Y-you're not mad at us?" Nikki asked. Mrs. Lee gently placed her hand on Tommy's shoulder,"I've known you were gay for a very long time, honey. It was your choice whether to tell us or not. We just want you to be happy."

"Plus, you and Nikki are always so touchy feely during interviews," Athena teased, poking her brother in the the stomach. Tommy laughed then grabbed Nikki's face, kissing him passionately. Mr. Lee and Athena made fake gagging noises through their laughter and Tommy's mother just smiled softly.

She couldn't have asked for anyone better to be with her son.
