It all started with the blow dryer.
Ruby had slammed the door to the base open, screeching, "HAS ANYBODY SEEN MY BLOWDRYER?"
Sapphire nearly fell off her perch in the tree, and yelled at the top of her lungs, "NO!! Go search somewhere else!"
Ruby grumbled and walked away muttering, "I knew inviting those Kanto Trainers was a bad idea. I bet they stole my precious blowdryer."
Blue is in another room of Ruby and Sapphire's secret base. She is soaking her hair with water and blow drying it, leaving it shiny and wavy. She hums a little as she cups the water in her hands.
"I'm glad I found this automatic blowdryer. It's amazing-"
Ruby barrels through the entrance, spitting out leaves and cursing.
He straightens himself and looks her straight in the eyes. "You. You stole my precious blowdryer! Thanks to you, my hair has been a mess for far too many hours! You will pay."
Blue lets out a laugh. "Oh forgive me, I didn't know this was yours, pretty boy. However, I won't give it up that easily, especially not to someone who has badmouthed me. I resonate with this blowdryer, and I intend to keep it."
Ruby's eye gleams. "Let's see who's worthy of this blowdryer then. Meet me here in the forest at noon tomorrow. We'll have a competition and decide who is more fabulous, and worthy of the prize."
Blue grins. "Game on."
