The next day, she sends a letter to Red.
"Dear Red,
I am going to Unova for a couple of days to tend to personal business. I'll let you in on the details when I get back.
Sincerely, Yellow."
Yellow sighs. I hope he doesn't mind that it's brief. I just have this feeling that I shouldn't let them know yet. For once, I want to step forward on my own.
---
Using the money she received from Elesa, Yellow buys a ticket for the train. When she boards, a woman stops her and leads her to a private luxury bunker exclusively for VIP's.
Yellow shakes her head. "I can't accept this. I'm fine in the regular seats."
Looking apologetic, the woman replies with, "I'm sorry, but Elesa demands that you have the best treatment and seating on the way to Unova. If not, she says she will sue us."
Yellow gapes. "O-Oh! I'm so sorry! I'll use this bunker then!" She grabs her luggage and hurries into the room. The room holds a king-sized bed with paintings and lavish curtains adorning the walls. A brightly lit bathroom and a lamp illuminates the room. Soft music plays to go with the mood.
The door shuts behind her. Yellow immediately plops down onto the soft bed.
So this is what it's like to travel like a celebrity. Everything is so expensive! I'll have to make sure to really thank Elesa for this.
Yellow gets up and inspects the room, marveling at it's beauty. The curtains, carpeting, and wallpaper were all an elegant mahogany red. The bathroom was blazingly white in comparison, and a little too high-tech for Yellow's preferences. She heads to the sink, the only part of the room that she is slightly familiar with. She splashes cold water onto her face and sighs. Yellow gazes into the mirror. A small, painfully mediocre girl stares back.
Doubt clouds her mind. Me? A model? There has to be some mistake. I wonder what Elesa sees in me.
Yellow dries her face with a towel and heads back to the main room. She changes into her nightie and heads to bed, wishing the moon a good night.
---
Yellow's eyelids quiver. Slowly, she opens her eyes and her vision clears. Sunlight filters through the glass pane of the window, urging her to wake up. Yellow groans and pulls herself into a sitting position. Groggy and weary, she peers at her pocket watch.
A pause.
Yellow's amber brown eyes shoot wide open, all traces of sleepiness gone in the moment of panic. She throws off her covers and runs out of the room, still in her nightie.
She grabs the attention of an employee. "HAVE WE ARRIVED IN UNOVA YET?"
The lady nods. "We did a couple of minutes ago."
"Why did we arrive two hours later than scheduled?" Yellow asks frantically.
The lady responds with, "We had a minor gas leak and had to stop and tend to it during the night. It put us off schedule. Do you need to be somewhere?"
Yellow nods up and down violently. "I need to be with Miss Elesa in ten minutes! I don't have any time to spare!" Yellow leaves the stunned employee behind and sprints back to her room. She grabs all of her bags and runs as fast as her little legs can carry her out of the train. The sun pierces her vision and blurs out the world. Unable to see but still frantic to move, Yellow squints and continues running. Her foot catches on a loose brick and she trips, falling to her knees. She winces, pain lancing through her knees.
