Sorry for not posting in a while. This is a poem I wrote in honour of our troops this Remembrance Day. Enjoy :)

The soldiers, the soldiers,

they lay down their guns,

white flag in the air,

the war has been won.

But only some have the luck,

to be united once again,

for most of the pack

have lost dear old friends

The moment of joy,

greeted by your true lover,

happens as Ms. Next Door

is weeping for her other.

One side always wins,

while all the rest despair,

but what do we do

to help those way out there?

If only we could see,

that war is never a solution,

at last we would realize

it is an incomplete conclusion.

The soldiers, the soldiers,

their job is now done,

so we will honour their sacrifices

saluting in the glowing sun.
