Sonic Boom: Sonic's New Adventure

The Beginning of the Unknown

Setting: On the island in a neighborhood, the ground is of sand and few trees are present around the scene. Behind a family lies their house. A two story, tan colored house with one window in the front.

Characters:
Elizabeth (Sonic's mother, purple coated)
Henry (Sonic's father, blue coated)
Hanna (friend)
Jenny/Jenifer (friend)
Jeffrey (friend)
Jay and Jan (twins and friends)
Niki (sister, purple coated)
And more..

(This takes 12 years ago)

(Sonic is 13 in this time)

(Birds chirping with melodic, but yet sad piano music playing)

(The scene is up in the sky slowly heading down to what appears to be a family exchanging hugs)

(Elizabeth kneels down to hug her son and then after the hug, she kisses his forehead and then stands back up)

(All of them are smiling, but sad)

(Sonic then takes his time leaving with Tails. Tails looks back to see that Elizabeth and Henry were holding each other's arm on each other's shoulders. Tails then tips his ears down, turns around and then begins walking along with Sonic)

(Then the scene reverts to Elizabeth, after they leave, she then turns that slight smile to a frown and worried look)

(The scene fades to 3 days later)

(Inside the house, in the living room, on the couch, is Elizabeth. Henry is above her, behind the couch)

Elizabeth: (in a sad tone) What am I supposed to do? I feel like I should of told him.

Henry: Elizabeth, it's ok, we'll just..... Have to bare this burden together. I know how you feel and I can honestly say the same.

Elizabeth: Maybe one day, they'll get to know each other.

(The scene slowly reverts to her stomach)

(8 months later)

(Then the scene changes to the outside of the house at night. Then the scene drifts to the parents room to Elizabeth)

(She seems to be struggling in her sleep. She then jolts up in awake of a nightmare)

Elizabeth: (takes a gulp in pain then starts breathing heavily) Henry?

(Henry then jolts up)

Henry: Yes hun? Is Everything okay? (In a panicky tone) Is the baby okay?

Elizabeth: The baby is fine. I just woke up to a nightmare is all.

Henry: (giving a pity look to her and soft spoken) You know he's alright. If anything, I'm pretty sure that he's enjoying his life right now.

Elizabeth: You're right. I shouldn't be overwhelmed by this. (Rubbing her stomach)

Henry: Now get some sleep. In a week, it'll be time.

Elizabeth: Right...

(Elizabeth lies back down taking the blanket with her)

(The scene drifts to day at the hospital)

(One week later)

(In the hospital, Elizabeth stands at the receptionist, beside Henry, waiting for the big day)

(A few minutes later)

(They get emitted into a room, with Elizabeth in a hospital bed)

(Elizabeth turns her head to see the doctor coming in just to say what is going to happen)

Elizabeth: Hey, Dr. Frank.

Dr. Frank: Hey, Ok so, we are just going to let nature take it's course. If nothing has happened by tomorrow though, then we will speed the process up, just a little.

Elizabeth: (in a agreeable tone, while nodding her head) Right.

Dr. Frank: (gets more in a sad tone as he speaks) But don't forget, this could be your last chance.

(Elizabeth just look down in disappointment and worrying about how this may go out)

Dr. Frank: I'm sorry. But I already told you of the consequences when you had your first kid.

Elizabeth: (looks back up) I understand.

(Dr. Frank just nods)

Dr. Frank: Well, get some rest for when the time does come. I'll check in a few hours.

Elizabeth: Alright.

(An hour later)

(Henry is in a waiting room, nervously moving his leg up and down)

(A nurse then comes out of a room he is near. Henry then gets up, still nervous and approaches the nurse. The conversation was muted but all you could see was that the nurse speaking to him in a happy tone. And then you see Henry sit down in a chair, next to the nurse, feeling relieved)

(About 10 minutes later)

(Back to the room, Elizabeth is asleep. Henry comes in the room and quietly closes the door and then walks to the bed to quietly wake up Elizabeth)

Henry: Hey, Elizabeth... (Shakes her a little)

Elizabeth: Mm... (Opens her eyes slightly) Henry?

Henry: Hey, how are you doin? (Puts his hand on her shoulder)

Elizabeth: (puts her hand on his) I'm doing fine. (Turns her head the opposite direction) Our new one's over there.

(Henry just nods and retracts his hand and starts walking over to the new infant)

(As the scene is drifted from his view, you see a tiny purple hedgehog, asleep on her side, facing the wall, with her mouth slightly open)

(The scene is then changed to Henry, with a big smile and feeling like he wants to cry)

Elizabeth: (quietly) So, What do you think we should name her?

(Henry looks back at Elizabeth)

Henry: I have no idea.

Elizabeth: I was thinking, Niki.

Henry: Spelled, how?

Elizabeth: N-I-K-I.

Henry: Odd spelling, but I'll take it.

(Elizabeth smiles as the scene fades from a view)

(Scene fades)
