Sonic Boom: Sonic's New Adventure

The True Beginning

(1 week later)

(Niki once again is asleep in her bed with the alarm going off. She flips herself facing the alarm and reaches her arm out to turn it off. But this time she sits up, stretching and yawning. Before she finishes, Hanna and Jenny come crashing through the door, startling Niki)

Hanna: Morning! Guess what's today?

Niki: (With a bit of snark while smiling) What?

Hanna: Come on, today is the big day.

Niki: What big day?

Hanna: (with an encouraging tone) Come on, today is the day you promised. You want your big dream to come true, don't you?

Niki: (looking down, worried) It's just, I don't really think I'm ready for it yet.

Hanna: You are ready. How many more years are you going to train, before you say you're ready?

(Niki just looks down in silence with a sad look)

Jenny: Niki.... We'll help and you know that. We just want you to at least try. Ok?

(Niki looks up at them then looks back down, closes her eyes and takes a deep breath)

Niki: Fine. I'll try.

(Both Hanna and Jenny's eyes twinkle in excitement)

Hanna: (drags Niki out of the bed) Then come on! What are waiting for?

Niki: Ok Ok! (In a giggly tone) I'm coming.

(A few minutes pass as a montage breaks out as Niki gets ready for the day. As the minutes pass they are now outside of the house)

Hanna: So, you sure you wanna do this on your own?

Niki: (hands on hips and confidently) Yep. It's time I stop lounging around and start doing something more useful.

(Niki starts walking away from the trio and Hanna starts praising)

Hanna: (under her breath) Do it....

(Niki then darts off with her super speed, satisfying Hanna)

Hanna: (fist pumps) Yes!

(About 20 minutes later)

(Niki is walking up to Tails's workshop. As nervous as she is, she knocks on the door. She waits a few minutes and tries again. No one seems to be answering and so she opens the door and realizes that no one is there. As well as she is nervous, she creeps in the workshop and takes a look around)

Niki: Man, this place is gold mine in tech.... I wonder what other things are lying around. What about you Ziggy?

(Ziggy comes out and does hyper metallic squeaks)

(About an hour later)

(Niki is passed out in a crouching position next to the outside part of the doorway)

(The heros come approaching the door and they see Niki passed out)

(Tails kneels down and shakes Niki a little to wake her up. She of course wakes up)
