We were heading out the door when I heard someone call my name. I turn around to see Megan, drink in hand.
"You never played truth or dare! c'mon!" She said and took my hand and led me to the couch. I look back to see Luke, and sure enough the was only a few places behind me.I sat quiet for most of the game, I guess I didn't seem like a fun target. However, I'm not really complaining.
"Kylie" some blonde chick said, "truth or dare?"
"Uhhh...Dare?" I said, but it came out as more of a question.
"Alright...five minutes in the bedroom with Ashton" she smirked. I looked around until I found the messy haired young man. My eyes widened in shock as I saw the greedy look on his face. As he made his way towards me, someone else grabbed my arm.
I turned to see Luke, taking me to the door. "Stop! What are you doing?" I asked as I limply tried to whack his hand off my arm.
"You're not going in the room with him. No way." He growled. I decided not to mess with him.
He and I both stayed silent most of the drive home. Eventually I decided to take the initiative and break the silence. "Why did you do that back there?"
"I don't know" he mumbled. I took a turn into the nearest parking lot.
"We're not moving until you tell me the real reason" I said as I looked over at him.
"You're kidding." He glared.
"Nope" I smiled.
He rubbed his face in frustration and gave a loud sigh.
"I just...cant have anything happen to you, because I would obviously be the first one questioned since we went to school together in out previous years too. Also, that party was boring as fuck. I needed to get out."
"That's all?"
"Yes! Now drive. I'm going back to your dorm until Meg gets home" he snapped. I give a sigh and rolled my eyes. The rest of the drive home was pretty peaceful. When we arrived back at the dorm, I felt the exhaustion creeping over me.
I opened the door and flipped on my bed. Luke sat on Megs, across from me. I reluctantly got up to change into my sweatpants and tshirt. "Turn away" I ordered Luke.
He gave me a look but eventually turned. I stripped down to my bra and underwear, then went to my drawer to get me clothes.
*Lukes POV*
Just one look I thought to myself. I turned my head to see Kylie searching through her dresser.
I got up and started to silently make my way over to her. I promised myself I wouldn't do this, but I can resist the temptation.
I took long strides over to her, then turned her around by grabbing her bare waist and kissed her firmly. She was hesitant to kiss back at first, goosebumps arose on her skin when I touched her, I also noticed her flinch a little. But then her lips moved perfectly mine. We broke the kiss after a little while.
I walked out the door before she could ask any questions, leaving her alone and confused.
*Kylies POV*
His lips were so soft on mine. He kissed me like no one else. It was...magical. It made me forget. When he first touched me, I saw his face. The face that reminds me of my darkest times. For the first time since what happened, I felt worth it. I felt like someone who touched me actually wanted me for more than what my body has to offer. The magic ended shortly after though, Luke broke the kiss. He began to walk away.
I opened my mouth to call out to him, but he was out the door before I could form the words I meant to say.
