Chapter 09

2nd Person's POV*

You squinted your eyes as you gazed up upon your bed window, wishing you could just magically gain some kind of power that could just fade your sickness away just like that.

But that's just a wish.

Groaning while laying on your bed since morning, you can't help but just glue yourself into that position due to your pained-ass body.

Suddenly, your phone started to vibrate and created such a sound that startled you like a jumpscare.

Extending your arm as you reached for it on top of the nightstand beside your bed, you rubbed your eyes and scrolled to see who messaged you out of the concrete bubble.

[ Fr: Haru-Haru ]

Butterflies occured in your empty stomach, like a full world of them aching into it from like a zero to a hundred. Wait no, a zero to a million.

The realization after you snapped yourself back into reality that Haruka, the same old stoic friend of yours wanted to visit you again. After visiting you with the others just like, a day ago.

I mean, sure, friends are supposed to be obsessed over their friends. Especially when they are not feeling their best at the very moment. But this moment, feels different.

You packed your black leather sling bag and slid it on your shoulder making it fall softly, leaving it hanging on your narrowed shoulder. You slid your shoes, your favorite maroon converses in your two feet and head out.

Outfit? It was just the definition of simplicity and casual, as if. You just wore a simple oversized yellow-pastel hoodie that you purposely made it look like you were wearing a dress in someway.

And some dark denim shorts all over your thighs. Casual as ever, right?

You also simply just worked your hair up in a messy bun with baby hairs popping out a bit. And you were also too lazy to ever put such makeup on your skin, your face in particular. You never really do had the intention on wearing makeup. Since birth.

It didn't took long for you to found yourself finally standing front of the doorstep of your friend's house. Actually, you just realized that both of you were neighbors in the hood.

After a few several knocks and ring on the doorbell outside, the wood finally opened and swinged, showing the presence of none other than; water addict himself.
