Chapter 34: Apology-Party Disaster

Chapter 34

Haruka's POV*

"I'm sure she still loves you." Makoto says as his fingers traces circles on my back for comfort from my stiff back itching pain.

I sigh while my expression is swollen and empty ever since me and (Y/n)'s arguement began, ti'll now I look like a depressed zombie searching for a way to solve a problem, searching for happiness.

"She's mad at me because she misunderstood everything." I mutter yet Makoto heard it perfectly since he was actually waiting for me to speak. He wanted to help.

He shakes his head following a grin, he places his palm on my shoulder making me look up to him. "Then make her understand." he emphasized the word 'make' as he said that phrase.

I forced a fake smile, a smile not reaching my eyes. "How?" I ask him, full of curiosity because all I want now in this cruel life is just to fix this problem.

His grin widens, he tells me to lean my ear on his mouth. He made his voice quiet and whispered a good plan in my ear. His breath brushing on my skin.

My lips formed a full-of-courage smile. I nodded, "Good idea."

Nagisa points at a distance. "I think personally that yellow balloon should be placed lower than the red one.." he mentions making me smile crookingly.

I raise my arm for Rei to see, he turns his head knowing and waiting for a command. I told him to shift the yellow balloon in a lower spot just like what Nagisa told me.

Rei sarcasm-lingly salutes with his three fingers. "Yes sir!" he shouts like some military soldier making me slightly burst a chuckle.

On the same day that night, Makoto planned to create a surprise-apology party. Actually, its not really a thing but he just made it up but it still sounded like a terrific idea.

So basically we will decorate a place- we chose a garden, its on my backyard. And put up balloons saying 'I-Am-Sorry', its pretty much like someone celebrating a birthday party but an 'apology-themed' one.

I know it sounds really strange but if its for (Y/n), I just have to try any puzzle piece to solve an uncomplete puzzle.

My gut instict tells me that there's a good change that she will forgive me but at the same.. not.

"She's coming here at seven." Makoto reminds me, and at the same time snaps my thoughts as he pats my shoulder. "Be ready."

He said those two words like he was just dugging a sword on my heart. I wasn't ready nor I was prepared, but all I know is that I should just do my best. I would never wish to let (Y/n) fade in my life.

(Y/n) didn't know this plan. Well, obviously if she did knew, she would just do second thoughts and not come. I really hope she comes.

I wanna see her face again, its been days since she was invisible to me, I hate it so much.

Rei, Nagisa, Makoto and me myself helped altogether to finish all the decorations and stuff perfectly. I'm lucky for them to exist in my life, without them- my life would be completely miserable.

Gou knew this plan and promised that she won't tell a bit to (Y/n). Right now, she's at (Y/n)'s place and maybe perhaps comforting her and letting her open up to Gou.

I realized from this problem that friends will always be there on your side, no matter what happens and no matter how big or small a certain problem there is to you. So do not waste your friends.

Anyways, since it was nighttime already, it was pretty dark and everyone (my friends) was hiding on chosen areas. All the lights in the garden was turned off.

"Isn't this like just the same as birthdays?-"

Nagisa's question was cut off by Makoto. "Shh, Gou messaged me that they are almost here and she managed the convice (Y/n) to come."

"Really?"

Makoto nods. "And when the lights goes up by Rei, everyone will just stay silent-"

Nagisa buts in with his questions again. "But normally during birthdays we have to shout, right? Shout 'happy birthday!' or-"

Me, Makoto and Rei stared at him in unison then facepalmed in sync.

Makoto shakes his head. "Anways... after (Y/n) goes in the garden, Rei will turn on the lights then we will come out expect for Haru-kun. He will come out from my signal."

I nod my head. We are working so hard with such efforts, it makes me grin amusment.

Then bricks of nervousness hit me as I heard footsteps leading inside the garden. I knew it was them.

"W-Why i-is it s-so dark..??" I heard (Y/n)'s voice squeak near, I found it so adorable that it almost distracted me from concentrating.

Gou chuckled, "Don't worry, I'll turn on the lights for you squiddo!"

Squid. I missed calling her that, I always had.

Gou knew where we were hiding, we saw her wink that the plan is going well. All we did was grin at her and nod. Rei opened the lights, Gou came back to (Y/n). "All better now? I didn't know you were scared of the dark."

I peek and saw (Y/n) roll her eyes, such a cutie. "Everyone has fears, okay?!-" she suddenly gasped at the sight. She points, "Is there a birthday party here?!"

Goodness. Nagisa almost let out a loud laugh from his mouth if it wasn't for Makoto who was beside him, guarding him to not fail the plan. Well, to be honest, I almost laughed too. She was always such a big dorkhead.

Then she notices the balloons. "I'm sorry?.. why are the balloons apologizing?"

"No silly. The thing is, I have something to tell you." Gou starts. "This place is for apologizing because Haru-"

Suddenly, Gou stops speaking making me and the other males peek and lift our heads. Gou looked shocked as her eyes was glued at a figure, staring at in complete shock.

I moved my head and streched my neck to see and her expression contagiated me.

"Why is Rin here?!"
