Runaway (Dacre Montgomery)

Hey Doc

The next morning Sarah still didn't feel any better, her energy levels had dropped again and she couldn't do anything without feeling exhausted, she was sat on the couch with Dacre and Katie when Chloe walked in, "morning!" She announced, "oh still not feeling fresh Sarah? Get ready you need to go to the doctors" , Sarah rolled her eyes and looked at Dacre desperately wanting him to argue that she didn't have to go but he stayed silent, she knew she wouldn't win this battle so she got up.
She took off her pjamas and threw on the first dress in her closet, before walking back out to the living room she looked at herself in the mirror, 'Jesus. I look like shit' she thought.

When she went back to the room, Dacre was at the door with his shoes on ready to leave, "you ready baby? I'm taking you, Chlo is staying with Katie", Sarah smiled at Chloe, she was so thankful or the people in her life, she just wanted to get rid of this virus before shooting and Katie's birthday, "ok I'm ready lets go so I can come back and sleep".

The car ride to the doctors was quiet mostly because it was a 20 minute drive away and Dacre only woke her just before they arrived, she didn't want to sleep so much but Dacre wanted her to get the rest her body needed.
When they pulled up outside the surgery Dacre got out and ran around to Sarah's side to help her, "such a gentleman", Dacre gave her a heart felt smile and guided her inside by the small of her back, "let's get you fixed up angel".
They didn't have to wait long for the doctor to call them in, "Sarah mills the Dr will see you now" the receptionist called.

Sarah felt at ease waking into the doctors office, it was huge and bright with lots of windows, it didn't look anything like a doctors office, "hello Sarah, my name is Dr Curtis, tell me a little about how you have been feeling", the middle aged woman asked, "well Iv just been feeling very flu like since we came back from our trip" Sarah told her lookin at Dacre for confirmation, to which he nodded in agreeance, "and where did you go on your trip?" Dacre smiled at Sarah as he remembered the trip they had just come back from, "we spent 8 weeks in Australia and 2 weeks in Italy, could I have brought something back with me?" Sarah asked very concerned, the Dr smiled at her, "it's very unlikely from those two places but I will need to get a urine sample test and maybe a blood sample if that's ok with yourself?" Sarah nodded still feeling worried about what could be wrong with her, Dacre could see her worry so he grabbed her hand, "babe it's ok don't panic", Sarah smiled at him and squeezed he's hand.

The Dr gave Sarah a bottle and asked her to collect a urine sample from then restroom down the hall, whilst Sarah was gone Dacre took the opportunity to speak to the Dr, "what are you thinking Dr? She's really scared, she doesn't deal well with Drs and hospitals." She gave Dacre and agreeing nod and a smile, "yes I can see that, are you her husband?" The doctor asked, "Fiancé actually, I asked her when we were in Australia" the Dr smiled at him, "I can see that you really care about her, I don't think it's anything serious, maybe just a bad case of the flu but I will know more when I test her sample", Dacre nodded and the pair waited for Sarah to return.

The door opened and Sarah walked in carrying the bottle, "ah thank you Sarah", the Dr stood up and put on some rubber gloves before taking the bottle from her and heading over to the sink to test it, she stuck what looked like two pieces of paper in the bottle, after a few seconds she looked over at Sarah and smiled.
Taking off her gloves she washed her hands and sat back down at her desk, "ok guys so I have 2 results here, Sarah you have a mild water infection which could be causing the fever and lack of appetite, I will give you a course of medication for this, but also I have another result" she looked at both Sarah and Dacre, who were both worries at this point, "oh god I'm dying!" Sarah said dramatically before throwing her head into her hands, Dr Curtis laughed, "no Sarah your far from dying, in fact your creating life, your pregnant honey!"

Dacre and Sarah looked at eachother in shock, Sarah was instantly terrified, "oh my god, I can't be" Dacre didn't say anything he just sat with he's mouth open taking it all in, "you very much are Sarah, I am going to book you in to see our obgyn in a couple of days and she will run some tests and tell you how far along you are, that sounds ok?" Sarah nodded and stood up ready to leave, as she did Dacre stood up and spun her around, wrapping he's arms around her waist and planing a long romantic kiss on her lips, "I love you so much angel! Thank you", Sarah felt her heart would explode, she was petrified that this isn't want Dacre wanted, she didn't want to loose the love of her life, "your happy about this?!" Dacre smiled from ear to ear "baby of course I am, me you, Katie and our special surprise, what is there not to be happy about?", she couldn't believe how amazing this man was, looking around Dacre frame she smiled at Dr Curtis and said "thank you so much" before grabbing Dacres hand and heading to the car.

The drive home was filled with so much love and excitement, the pair were discussing how and when to tell people, how to tell Katie, discussing moving into a house, figuring out where in the world they would live and wether to postpone the wedding.
They decided they would meet up with the rest of the cast after their first appointment once they find out how far along they were but Katie was always going to hear the special news first, they needed a house that was definite but they couldn't decide between moving to LA for work or moving to Australia to be with Dacres family.
Sarah decided she didn't want to be pregnant at her wedding so they needed to either rush and marry before or wait until after, they couldn't decide.
All they knew was their future was filled with so much love and joy and they couldn't wait for their next chapter to start.
