Blood. Pain. Screams. Darkness. Tartarus. Nico woke up, agonized and screaming. Little beads of sweat trickled down his forehead. Nico panted and screamed. He dreamed of Tartarus every night.
The floor outside the door creaked; Nico jumped and thrashed, reaching for his sword. The door flung open. Without looking, Nico flung his sword, impaling the doorframe.
"Woah calm down death breath," Will chuckled, "You could've hurt- wait- are you ok? You're paler than usual."
Nico glared. "I'm fine, Solace!"
"Don't lie to me, Neeks." Will's hand lightly travelled up to Nico's cheek. Nico blushed lightly, his expression softening. "T- tarta-"
Nico broke down again, tears spilling down his pale complexion
Will embraced Nico in a hug and lightly kissed his forehead. "It's okay now. I love you."
Nico dried his tears and buried his face in Will's shirt. He lightly whispered, "I love you too."
