17. BACK FOR YOU

LUCY,

   Two more months passed and I have garnered way more attention than I thought I would've. My song has hits the charts, and was nominated. Of course, it didn't win but I didn't expect it to. My song being nominated was honestly enough for me. Finally, I am at a point where Louis wasn't on my mind too much. The other guys are some of my closest friends now. Liam is practically the older brother I never had. He and I FaceTime nearly every chance he gets.
   With me getting so much attention, so was the boys. They are in the peak of their career right now and they honestly stay busy. So many interviews, talk shows, concerts, etc. They even go on the weirdest side quests ever. The merch they have out is insane and random, they even did a 1D day event. Even from afar, I'm proud. I always knew they would be so huge. Then, on the other side I've been doing a few interviews. Though, I'm still trying to stay out of the public eye as much as I can, I do little things.

"Now Lucy, we are so glad you decided to join us today!"

"Well, when I got the invite I knew I just had to come onto the show. I've been an avid fan for years."

"Love to hear that! You know we keep things light hearted and easy over here!"

"But anyway! How have you been? You've recently came back onto the internet."

  My hands were shaking, and my heart was pounding. My body was stiffened and I have a lump in my throat. Though, you could never tell really. Even in an anxious state, if I keep my body still enough I can fake it till I make it. "Yes! Within the past few months." With each interview, things got better. But no matter what, during them it felt like a nightmare. The bright scorching film lights freaked me out and I'm not used to doing things live. "What pushed you to finally come back?" Chuckling, I smacked my lips. "I just couldn't stay away from my fans. I owe everything to them, and it wouldn't be right for me not to share what I was going through."
   Kacy Keller's eyes twinkled in excitement, this was it. This was part of the deal she was talking about. Now, I wasn't lying when I said I've been a fan, I have! But it's no known secret that Kacy Keller will be light hearted and easy going but she will sneak in one deep rooted question. In exchange for broadening my audience, she can ask me any personal question she wants. And that was something I never let interviewers ask. My personal life stayed personal. Even with Kristin, I only told so much.

"Lucy, everyone has a burning question."

"I think I know where this is going.." I gave a nervous chuckle.

"There's been theories going around on who your song could be about.."

  Giving a nervous yet desperate chuckle, "Well out with it Kacy." Her lips tightened hesitantly for a moment. As if she was deciding on if she was actually going to ask. My heart was pounding with fear at this point. It was a no brainer on what she was going to ask, it's the same question everyone wants to know. "A lot of your fans seem to think that it's about the one and only Louis Tomlinson."
