16. IS IT JUST ME?

    Months, it has been months since I've heard from Louis. Technically, six months but who is counting right? He promised he wanted me in his life, but now I feel like he never did. The sudden leave, and no updates, it's killing me. I mean, I guess this is what I get, going for a risk. I knew this was going to happen and now I just feel like a total fool. Pining over a man I met for the total of a couple days, and even then he somehow made me fall for him.
    The other guys have kept in touch, but we don't talk of Louis often. If anything, the boys don't seem to agree with them much these days. And that worries me a lot. They are best mates, and whatever has them upset is sure to be revolved! Hell they treat each other like brothers, and brothers get into spats all the time!

"Niall is asking when you're posting the song?"

"Why didn't he just ask in the group chat?"

   Kristin laughed and put her hands up in defense, "Hey don't shoot the messenger, I'm just here." Rolling my eyes, I texted Niall and told him. Everyone has been so anxious for my new song, but I'm not too excited about it. If anything I'm scared to release it, it's the most heartfelt thing I've ever written. And I'm nervous some people might put two and two together.

Niall🍟: Shut up Liam!! She needs to post it now! 

   Chuckling I grab my laptop and pull it onto my lap, checking it I groan. Even if I wanted to post it right now, I can't. My video is still processing so everyone is just going to have to wait. Besides, it should be like thirty minutes left. Minimizing YouTube, I pull up a separate news tab. As a scrolled down I see an article with a picture of Louis attached. Against my better judgement, I clicked it. The page brought me to a video of Louis during a radio show.
    He didn't really seem to want to be there, kind of absent is a way to put it. This is one of the only few interviews I've seen him so calm and reserved. Shaking my head I watched the video. Really couldn't be bothered to read the article, I just wanted to hear his voice. I've accepted that this is the only way I'll ever be able to hear it again. For the first few months, I couldn't do it. I couldn't look at anything with him.

"Great! Great! Good to know you guys are keeping a busy schedule!"
