LUCY,

An alarm began to ring in her ears, causing her eyes to open. Grabbing her phone, she shuts the alarm off. Going into the bathroom she goes into the medicine cabinet. There she grabs her pill pack and takes one. Yawning, Lucy had a big stretch and headed back into her room. She wasn't sure how long she had been asleep for, but she must have needed it she guessed.
Turning off the low music from her stereo, wrapping herself in a blanket. Heading into the living room, she called out.
"Kristin? Kris? You home?"

"Yeah! In the kitchen hun!"

Upon going into the kitchen she sees Kristin with Chinese food and sushi laid out ready to be eaten. "You ordered sushi!?" Lucy exclaims going to eat a piece when Kristin smacked her hand away.
"Owe! What did you do that for?" She screeched to her. Kristin gave her a stern look, "No eating yet! Go to the living room!" She ordered firmly putting the finishing touches together.
Shaking her head in disbelief, and taking her seat on one of the couches. Lucy was surprised yet pleased, not once has Kristin allowed food in the living room. In the time of living together she found out that Kristin was kind of a neat freak. Though it never bothered her, Lucy was pleased to see her have a little freedom.

Looking at her crazy, Kristin had nothing but a shit eating grin on her face. "Kris? Food in the. Living room? Are you well?" Lucy questions trying to remain serious but keeps letting out laughs. "Maybe I wanted to cheer you up a little bit.. as long as you promise not to get crumbs on the couch!" Lucy chuckles and wraps her blanket tighter around her. "Don't worry, I promise!"
Moments later, and Kristin comes into the living room with a full spread of the food and their favorite drinks. Her eyes darted across all of the food. Most excited for the sushi no doubt, however fried rice is also one of her favorite foods. "So what are we watching with dinner tonight?" Lucy questions as she began to make her plate.
Clicking a movie she shouts, "This is Us: One Direction" Lucy began to clap her hands together and yells out, "Whoop! Whoop!". It was honestly one of her favorite movies, the band had so many funny moments. It was one of the main things that made them so attractive in her eyes.
While they watched the movie they goofed off, ate Chinese food and sushi, drank some wine, and just forgot everything for a moment. When they fangirled together it was like a tiny piece of them was healed.
Two hours later when the movie has finally ended and they are putting the remainder of the food in the fridge and washing dishes Lucy sparks up conversation.

"So.. what was all this for?"

"Damn, Can I just be nice? I felt bad about how today went for you."

"I appreciate it, but it's not like it's your fault."

"It doesn't have to be. You've been stressed here lately and you had a freak out in front of our favorite band."

"I wasn't even trying to be a prick.. it just happened. You know how I am about my privacy."

Sighing, Kristin nodded. "I know, I know. But everything will be fine." Shaking her head at Kristin and chuckled. "You're absolutely bonkers, but that's why I love you."

Kristin turns off the kitchen light and leans against the wall, "However we do need to talk." Of course, she knew it. There was always something tied to the end of these things.
"There's always a catch." She remark at Kristin showing her annoyance at the moment. Kristin lets out a deep breath, "Lucy I'm so serious right now."

She was taken back by her tone, it's not often she has a serious demeanor with things. Even her posture was more composed than usual, not as laid back. It made her eyes go slightly wide as she shifted uncomfortably.
Kristin sighed rubbed her forehead, "You can not be so focused on the past. Shit happens, people get hurt." Lucy's body tensed up, and she got chills down her back.
"Not again Kris, what if it doesn't end well?" was the only thing that left her lips softly. Almost in a whimper.

Kristin walked up to her and pulled her into a hug, "Life is painful, but it's so giving. It's loving. Even if it doesn't end well I will be by your side to help pick up the pieces." As much as she wanted to push her away, tell her that she was wrong, she couldn't. The only thing she could do was hug her tighter.
Everything she was saying was true, it's just terrifying to do something you forget how to do. "Jump, take the risk, this is a once in a life time thing. You know you'll regret it if you don't."

Relax Lucy.
