6. CIRCLES

The sound of her alarm was blaring so loud. Swinging her arm over to the night stand she turned it off. Opening her eyes and sitting up, she looked out the window to see how pretty it was outside.
Going over to the stereo she had on the dresser, Lucy puts on some music. Swiftly, she decided to change into her bathing suit and a long t shirt and slipped on her flip flops.
Taking a deep breathe she walked over to Kristins room and knocked on the door.

"Yes?" I heard her call out
"Can you please come out?"
"Why?.."
"Just. Please Kris."

Lucy could hear Kristin audibly groan, however she still opened her door. Upon the door opening, the girls started laughing to laugh.

"How did we get the same idea?" Kristin asked laughing, causing her to drop the book she was holding.

Able to control her laughter she lets out, "It's Sunday. Every Sunday we always go to the

  Kristin stopped and gave Lucy a smile. She went to talk but stopped herself and giving Lucy a hug. "I'm sorry about last night."

"No, I'm sorry Kris. I shouldn't have said any of that."

"I should've never provoked you. It was my fault."

Letting go, Lucy smiled. "Forgiven?"

"Of course Luce! I don't want us to ever fight like that again."

" I agree! Now let's go to the beach!"

   Kristin smiled and grabbed her beach bag while Lucy grabbed hers plus two towels. Heading out their apartment and start walking to the beach.

"It's so pretty today." She said breaking the silence.

"It is, but it's freakishly hot"

"That's why we are going to the beach loser" she said
before running into the sand to get to our usual spot.

"Wait up!" Lucy yells trying to hold everything soon catching up to Kristin.
"Not my fault you're slow Lucy" she says laying her towel out and taking her shoes off.

Lucy puts her hair into a bun and decides to tan but as she was fixing her hair, she hears a click.

"Did you just take a picture of me?" Lucy looked at Kristin raising her left eyebrow.

"Yes! Because you're so pretty! I'll send it to you, you HAVE to post it." She said typing on her phone with a big smile.

  Lucy chuckles, "If you say so." Grabbing her phone when it went off and looked at it. She was pleasantly surprised to see just how good of a picture it was. Lucy edits the photo just slightly and posts it to instagram.

  Setting her phone down, Lucy laid back on her towel. Suddenly she began to hear Up All Night, looking over she sees Kristin playing music while her applying sunscreen and singing. "You aren't going to tan?" Lucy asks her in curiosity.
