Belladonna: So, it happened again.
Percy: More AU’s?
Belladonna: Yep.
Jason: Lovely what is it this time.
Belladonna: Percy the son of Artemis.
Harry: Isn’t she the maiden goddess.
Percy: Yep.
Harry: doesn’t she not like men?
Jason: Yep.
Ron: people are bonkers…
Belladonna: yep.
Percy sighed as he sat outside of the demigod camp. This was stupid, he didn’t want to go here. Why couldn’t he just stay with his Mom at the hunt? Percy watched the demigods at the camp border with bored, silver eyes. He glanced up idly when he heard a monster a clambering through the underbrush a few feet away, rolling his eyes as the demigods hadn’t noticed yet. Quickly he took out his bow and shot the monster down with ease.
Percy: Well that would never happen in a million years.
Harry: You can’t be that bad.
Belladonna: He one time nearly skewered Leo who was standing thirty feet behind him, inside the Big House. Percy was outside.
Harry: Okay nevermind.
Percy groaned and dropped out of the tree silently and strolled into camp, the demigods still not noticing. I thought these guys were supposed to be professionals. Percy thought with a slight annoyed look as he strolled up to the big, blue house. Other demigods stopped and stared at him, some pointed and whispered to their friend as he walked by. Oh, so they can be observant. Percy thought sarcastically. Percy gently hopped up the steps to the big house and kept walking until he was standing behind a man in a wheelchair and a pudgy looking man in a very loud shirt, both were occupied playing pinochle.
“Good morning, Mr. Chiron. Mr. Dionysus.” Percy said gently and politely. Both heads snapped towards him in surprise. Percy smiled and stood patiently.
“How did- nevermind. You must be Percy, Artemis’s son.” Chiron said as he turned to look at Percy fully. Percy nodded, causing Dionysus to snort. Not wanting anyone else to know that quite yet, he took out some shades and placed them on his head.
“Caused quite the uproar when you were born. Why are you here?” Dionysus demanded as he glared at the demigod. Percy smiled at his brash words.
“Mother insisted that I stay the summer here, Zeus demanded it.” Percy explained, voice soft as he studied both of the powerful entities in front of him. Chiron nodded.
“Well, we welcome you with open arms.” Chiron smiled gently at the obsidian haired boy. Percy smiled kindly back at him.
“Thank you, Mr. Chiron, Mr, Dionysus.” Percy said as he turned to head towards the Artemis cabin.
“Oh, please child, call me Chiron.” Chiron insisted, while Dionysus grunted, “It’s Mr. D to you, young man. “
“Alright, Chiron. And my apologies, Mr. D.” Percy grinned once again before leaving the front porch.
Jason: wait, he can be polite to gods? I’ve never seen that happen before.
Belladonna: He can if they don’t annoy him.
Percy: Guilty. You’re not much better though.
Once he reached the Artemis cabin Percy began to put his belongings in a chest at the end of the bed, but then thought better of it. He got a bracelet of woven together twine out and flicked it in thei air. The bracelet expanded into a medium sized chest that had no bottom. Percy placed his items in there and tapped the top of the chest twice before it shrunk down back into a bracelet and placed it on his wrist.
