Sneaking Out

Kat soon noticed the prince was down again. Worrying about the trip again she bet. She didn't know how to help him. She hated to see him so down and upset.....then it hit her something they haven't done in a long time something surely that would put a smile back on his face.

Kat went to the prince and took him aside where they could speak privately. "You grace why don't we sneak out tonight?" She asked. Prince Lawerence was in shock of the suggestion but then grew happy quickly. That was something he hadn't done in a long time. And it was what he needed to get his mind off things. He nodded excitedly.

Kat smiled and took his hand they went towards his room to plan. She grabbed a fellow knight to help her. This knight was a friend of Kat's. She asked them if they could cover for her and the prince while they sneak out tonight. Though her friend is reluctant at first Kat and the prince know how to get their way.

Her friend really liked sweet treats. So her and the prince bring out payment for his silence. Her friend sees them and soon took them promising not to let anyone, not even the king know they were gone. Kat speaks softly, "your highness you should probably change cloths". Lawerence was confused. "Well we don't want you to cause a riot out there", she continues.

The prince agrees, but then kat's knight friend pointed out that Kat should change as well. Kat was now the confused one, wondering what was wrong with what she was wearing. The prince now looking her over now has a very mischievous, cheeky, and evil grin. Kat didn't like this look he was giving her. "Wait..your highness!". Kat screamed. Lawerence grabbed Kat and immediately changed her outfit and hair giving her jewels to bring out her beauty.

A few hours pass and night falls on the kingdom. Kat is in the bathroom not wanting to come out, "your highness I'm not going out looking like this!". Lawerence laughed, "yea you are". He sits in his chair. Kat sighed and mumbled, "so I really have to come out?". Lawrence saying yes was all she had to hear.

Kat soon opened the door and came out. She was in long dark pants, boots, and a white criss cross strap halter top. Her hair was down and half was put back with a beautiful barrette. The prince put a ring on her finger to match her jewelry a sapphire to match her overall beauty. Kat was very embarrassed her cheeks bright pink. "I don't know about this highness. Hm? What are you looking at?". The prince turns her to a mirror and shows herself.

Kat is in shock of what she sees. She's never looked feminine in her life. She's overwhelmed seeing herself like this was a first. "Do I really look like that?". She asked. Lawrence nodded and hugged her. And soon they were off to the village below.

Time passes by to fast but Lawrence and Kat are having the time of their lives. Dancing, eating food, just having fun was all they both needed. Kat brings Lawerence to a bar to have a few drinks before headed back. Coming to find out her prince was very good at handling alcohol. "You sure can hold your liquor sir", says Kat.

Lawrence smiles he watches Kat down a few shots. A thought crossed his mind. Him and Kat are together all the time but he hardly knows anything about her past. Kat notices he's staring at her. Lawrence asked if she wouldn't mind him asking her questions about herself. "Sure I'm an open book", she says.

Lawrence begins asking her how she became a knight, where was she from, who her family was and what they were like. Kat answered best she could, she trained at a young age and was encouraged to take the knight test when she was sixteen. She was from the Isles but didn't know from which region. She said nothing at first.

"If you don't want to answer it's fine." He said. Kat shook her head no, "no it's fine I find your questions refreshing". She says. "See sir I'm sure your parents told you I was orphaned as a baby. Left on the door step of an orphanage nothing but my name was with me. I was grateful to them. The orphanage became my family and the children there are my brothers and sisters". She patted his head to comfort him.

A few dozen drinks later Kat was throughly drink. The prince held her hand the whole way back as they returned with no trouble or problems to be seen. Kat left the prince in his quarters and went to take a cold shower. And hit the bed hard.
