My cellphone runs out of battery and it seemed as if it was about to rain. I threw my phone back in my pocket and headed home.

When I got inside the building I was soaking. All wet. I was looking for my keys and when I pulled my head up I saw Michael. He was sitting near my flat’s door. He got up when he saw me and walked towards me. I just stood still. Processing all that was going through my head.

“Don’t go around leaving messages for people then disappear from the face of the earth! God damn it.” He said and then pushed his hair behind. He then focused his eyes on mine and held my shoulders with his big hands. “Are you okay?” He asked.

“Can you hold me?” I asked. I asked exactly what I wanted.

“What?” Michael said confused.

Tears were falling again. “Can you hold me? Please? Please?”

Michael then held me. His hands firm. As if he was never letting me go.
