Chapter 50

At school the next day, I avoided Indra as much as possible.

"He's really a vampire." I thought. I touched the gauze pad on my neck. "He hurt me...physically, emotionally."

Yes, I should stay away from him. But, I also want to be with him so badly. Maybe we can have a nice civil conversation about everything.

I groaned lowly.

I went into the bathroom and called Mom.

"Mommy I have a problem." I whined.

"Are you hurt?" She asked.

"Emotionally, yes." I answered.

"What happened?"

"I..." I started. I can't tell her that my boyfriend- Indra is a vampire and he bit me.

"Indra is back." I whispered.

"Oh really?" She asked.

"Yes."

"Did you kick him in the balls?"

I snorted. Didn't expect that at all.

"No," I laughed. "But the thought crossed my mind several times."

"What do I do? I can't avoid him forever." I said.

"Are you ready to talk to him?" Mom asked.

"Well..." I thought about it for a second. I'm not exactly afraid of him, just sort of disappointed. "I guess I'm ready."

"Well good. Good luck. Go to go, love you." She hung up. I sighed and left the bathroom.

"Alright Indra Alehanson. Let's dance."

Welp. I never saw Indra until dismissal.

Evie and I were walking to her car. We were in the back of the student parking lot. Looong walk.

When we got to the car Indra was sitting on the hood.

"Well, well." He said before smiling. I leaned back.

"Still afraid of me Luc?" Indra asked.

"Not anymore." I said confidently.

"Stay away from him Indra." Evie muttered under her breath.

Indra tilted his head briefly. He climbed off the car and came closer to us.

"I'm not going to hurt him. I just wanted to make sure he's alright."

Evie put her hand on Indra's chest, holding him back.

"Quit it." He ordered.

"I told you to stay back." She said. Are they about to fight?

"I just said I wasn't going to hurt him." Indra said.

"I don't care." Evie growled.

She turned her head to me. "Luc he wants to turn you into a vampire."

"Yeah I know."

Indra slapped Evie's hand away. "I'm done with that. He can stay human for all I care."

"Wait what?" Evie and I said.

I looked at her and pointed to Indra, "you knew he was vampire?"

"You know he wanted to turn you?" She questioned.

I grabbed my arm and nodded.

"Wait, Indra." I called. He looked at me.

"I'm not going to turn into a vampire now that you've bitten me, am I?" I asked.
