No one ever knows what to do when you're in love. I surely don't, but sometimes you surprise yourself.

Since Brian was home he let Alexandria stay home from daycare so they could spend time together.

While they hung out I laid on my bed on a call with Jason. I laid on my stomach propped up on my elbows with the phone on my pillow.

"You buried in work? Is it too much for you?" I asked lowly. We spoke in the "low gravely tone like we just woke up" tone. For some reason.

"Yes. But I can handle it. If Dad can do it I can too." Jason responded. He actually sounded dead. He doesn't do medical classes yet, just normal classes like in highschool.

"How long has it been since you slept?" I asked.

"48 hours." Jason answered. "Mari keeps telling me I'm gonna die before I become a doctor."

He chuckled.

Yeah, he and Mari are a thing now. I think they have a totally "aw how romantic" story in a way.

Here's how it goes: a boy and a girl meet at therapy sessions. Boy pines, girl is oblivious. Boy has to leave for a long period of time, i.e. college. Girl realizes her feelings and follows boy in her car all the way to his campus.

See we found out Mari lived in her car and was almost at her last straw, so Jason and her live together in his dorm room -- they have to sneak around. The good thing about his college is that he could choose if he wanted a roommate or not.

Now we're all just praying he doesn't get her pregnant. Especially Brian.

"How's Mari?" I asked.

"She's good. She got a job at a café not too far from campus." Jason said.

"That's good."

The door opened and a pitter-patter sounded.

Alexandria climbed up onto my bed and wiggled under my arm and laid on her stomach. I chuckled.

"Let me guess. Alexandria." Jason stated.

Alexandria started laughing.

"Hi Lexi." You could hear the smile in Jason's voice. "How's it going?"

"Jason!" She called loudly. "I make a lot of friends in daycare!"

"Tell me about them." Jason said.

"You sure you have time?" I asked.

"Jenny is from Chayna!"

"China." I corrected.

"Max is like Luc! Mommy says he has two people in him!"

"Mixed." I mumbled.

"Tiffany has red hair! It's like a leaf!" Alexandria squealed.

"And Milly has cats like Indra!" She finished. I nodded my head like he could see it.

"Indra's back in the picture?" Jason asked.

I didn't get the chance to say anything.

"He and Luc kiss a lot!" Alexandria exclaimed. She giggled.

"Oh..." Jason said lowly.

"Where's Daddy?" I asked Alexadria to distract everybody.

"He's seeking." They're playing hide and seek.

The door creaked. I turned my head. Thank god. Brian chuckled at us.

"What are you guys up to?" He smiled.
