Astral stared up at the crimson eyes the spirit continued to let out deep growls. Raising its claws Astral closed his eyes expecting them to come down on him.

"Enough my pet, stand down he gets the idea!" Vector said the order firm and unwavering. The corrupted spirit listened and slowly released Astral from his grasp. Yuma then quickly retreated behind Vector a loyal creature waiting for a command. "I suggest you leave harbinger of light. Yuma-kun belongs to me now."

"Y...you won't get away with this! We will stop you!" Astral tried to stay confident but seeing the feral look in the eyes of his friend he was not sure if it was possible.

"I would like to see you try. Now then I will take my leave with my new pet." Vector smirked turning and walking away motioning for Yuma to follow. The spirit glanced back at Astral before following its master.

Astral could only watch as the two dissapeared into the night. "I'm sorry....Yuma. I will save you." He promises himself clenching the golden pendant he grabbed from the spirit when he was pinned. It was the only way to get Vector to come back, after all how can one open a gate without the key?
