Magic makes chaos

Two birds on a rooftop 5 feet apart because they hate eachother.

Kaito kept watch over Shark and Yuma, he would step in if the fox spirit showed signs of becoming hostile. At the moment however both him and Shark seemed to just be enjoying themselves at a arcade. Katie's wings twitched feeling a disturbance in the air around him as another creature landed on the roof he was on.

"Well I didn't expect to see you here." A voice said from behind him. The tengu turned around to face the new arrival, the valkyries wings fluffed up as if they had just been recently groomed.

"Mizeal...may I ask why you are here?" Kaito sighed not wanted to deal with the egotistical creature at the moment.

"Same as you...observing the problem that is the end bringer. Tell me do you really think Ryouga can get through to him?" Mizeal asked perching a small bit away from the other.

"It's worth a shot, we can end this whole thing before it begins." Kaito sided moving a bit further from the valkyrie.

"Yes, but I for one have a very different idea of how to deal with this." Mizeal muttered pulling a golden bow from his back. As he pulled back a arrow and took aim at the fox Kaito struck the valkyrie with lighting.

"I can't allow you to do that... not until we know for sure that Yuma is gone. If he is." Kaito stopped mid scentence taking a shaky breath. "If he is then I will allow you to draw your weapon on him. For now just watch and wait."

Mizeal sighed annoyed running a hand through his blond hair. "Fine... only because I rather not anger the ocean god... or his sister. He is my boss so to say. But seriously Kaito, do you think he's still in there? I checked his soul there isn't much light left in it."

"He has to be, there is no way that he is gone completely." Kaito mumbled closing his eyes for a bit exausted.

Taking advantage of the opportunity the valkyrie took aim once more with his bow and before the tengu could react released the string.

"MIZEAL WHAT THE HELL!?" Kaito freaked out.

Before the valkyrie could say anything the sound of the fox spirit crying out in pain cut through the air. The arrow however had not hit the fox.

It had hit the cursed pendant.

"Have faith in my aim Kaito, I'm only trying to make your job easier." And with a shift of his wings Mizeal was already in the air long gone before Kaito could respond.

His gaze now fell on to the fox spirit down below, he had fallen to the ground the pain disorienting him. The fox spirit weakly reached for the ocean god who was now cradling him in his arms. A soft whimper escaped and with fearful red eyes the boy mumbled. "S..shark it hurts." Before he passed out completely.

With that Kaito made his way off the rooftop and over to the two. "...we should bring him and the pendant to Quinton, he may be able to help."

Shark simply nods handing the injured fox to Kaito and getting on his bike. "I'll meet you there. You can fly so you can get him there quicker."

Kaito didn't wait he simply took flight holding the fox tightly. 'You better come back to us damn it. You have everyone worried.'

A/N so I'm slowly adding the other barrians as I come up with ideas for what they can be. And next chapter, we get the rest of the arclights in the picture. So prepare for that.
