Magic makes chaos

When in doubt strike it with lightning.

Astral went to stab the sleeping fox soon finding his arms unable to move. A red energy wrapped around his wrists.

"I wont let you hurt my brothers friend!" A small boy with blue hair stood in the doorway of the room.

"A magic user? He's quite young, this is impressive." Dark stated staring at the boy curiously.

"You must understand, this isnt Yuma. This is Zexal he will hurt people if he is not stopped." Astral explained to the child the best he could.

"No, you're wrong, things have changed! The demons game is ending." The boy said still holding Astral in the grip of magic.

"And what do you know of this game?" Astral asked.

"Enough, the whispers tell me things." The small boy said.

"So not only a magic user, but an ancient magic user. Explains why a spirit was so easily drawn to him. Many creatures would want to have someone like this at their disposal." Dark said simply.

"Big brother keeps the mean ones away, he promised to protect me after a demon tried to take my soul." The child mumbled.

"Alright child, if you truly think things have changed...then we will wait to take action. But we will be watching." Astral sighed as the energy finally faded and he could move his arms again. He and his brother turn to leave as he does he Pat's the kid on the head. "Behave kid."

The boy smiled a bit. "Its hart, and don't worry. Big brother and his friends will fix this. But he does need help...one of them has been affected by something evil."

The two spirits glance at eachother. "Oh...that explains where the pendant went." Dark muttered.

"Brother just what exactly does that pendant do?" Astral asked.

"Takes ones inner darkness and multiplies it...by a lot. It controls them. We should probably go retrieve it." Dark said dragging his brother off leaving Hart in the room with the sleeping fox.

Meanwhile both Kaito and Quinton searched the city from above for any signs of Trey. When suddenly a voice echoed through a magic link.

"I found him, but hes running. I dont see a way to slow him down." It was Quatro he was not to far ahead so they caught up easily. Sure enough they could see the rabbit spirit running.

Kaito thought for a bit then heard the sound of a third set of wings joining nearby. "I know you dont want my opinion, but how about you block the path? Cant you create lighting?" Mizeal had rejoined the mix. "If not I'm shooting my bow to slow him down."

"You will do no such thing, Quinton and Quattro would kill you." Kaito said glaring. "You do have a point however." He looked ahead to the bridge nearby that crossed a river. Trey was not a fan of water so if he could just... with a flash in his eyes lightning struck down on to the old wooden bridge splitting it into pieces. And as he thought the rabbit stopped. He and Quinton landed for the second part of this plan. Mizeal circling over head just in case.

"Trey, listen to me little brother. Drop the pendant, you're not thinking right." Quinton said quietly walking closer to his brother.

"NO!" The rabbit spirit yelled holding the pendant tightly in his hands, he began laughing hysterically. "Its mine you cant have it!"

Quattro looked to his older brother unsure what to do. "Quinton...he needs help, but he wont listen."

Quinton sighed. "I know, but there is not much we can do."

Kaito thought for a bit, he then looked at the brothers. "You are going to hate me for this, but it's the only plan I got." He glared at the cursed object in Trey's hand and soon lightning struck it shattering it once more. However the electricity of the strike had caused the pink haired boy to collapse. His eyes now glassy and unfocused his mind trying to process what the hell just happened.

"KAITO!" Quinton yelled then hurried over to his brother. The younger spirit whimpered and clung on to him.

"B..big brother it hurts." Trey whispered.

"I warned you. Now...we need to get him back, and deal with the pendant. Mizeal come make yourself useful!" Kaito shouted at the valkyrie.

Mizeal landed nearby. "Let me guess... qant me to trap the pendant in a prism sphere so it can be transported?"

Kaito nods. "That is correct, we dont want to risk it corrupting another host."

Quattro was starting at his little brother. "Hey...why are Trey's eyes black?"

Trey whimpered. "M..make the whispers shut up!" He lashed out obviously terrified.

Quinton growled. "We need to figure out what that pendant is and soon."

The group agreed and began to make there way back. Mizeal holding on to the cursed pendant.

A/N: alright, I just want to warn you that things are going to get violent next chapter and if any of the following are triggers for you I suggest skipping it. The chapter after it will have a rundown of what happened. Following are the triggers

And sexual tension(No there will not be actual smut in this book but in the next chapter Trey does get a bit flirty with a new character while still influenced by the pendant.)
